Our experience with Allwest was terrible. 1. They under-estimated the cost of moving us by several thousand dollars. The cost just kept going up because we had multiple steps to our move, and it was not bid accurately. 2. They were very late in arrival on one of the moving days due to not getting the right directions and were three hours late.- no apology. 3. Several items were broken during the move. One large box was dropped all over the pavement.
The movers started out a bit later than what I was told, but were extremely fast at getting things moved out and into the truck. Everything seemed to be great until they left. My child's play kitchen is broken and a lot of our furniture is badly scratched. If that was the only things that were wrong I would have given them 4-5 stars. However, while they were reassembling our bed, they mentioned forgetting the support legs at the other house. I said I'd put the bed together myself after I went and got them.
Absolutely the worst moving experience ever. No respect or care for packing and handling our property. They threw some of our belongings in with trash. They packed items without regard for protecting it. Stacked boxes and crushed a few. Several broken items. Some stuff obviously damaged and no one brought it to our attention. Do not use this company. Pay a little more for someone else you will be happy. No follow up with company to ask how move went. Total disappointment.
My experience with the employees was awful. They rushed everything. Did not wrap important items. Smashed everything they could in boxes causing damage to practically anything and everything. They did not go from room to room, causing mixed up boxes and temporary loss of items.
Hired them to try to move a large two piece bookshelf upstairs. I was able to get one part up with great difficulty. They came, tried to move the bottom half but couldn't fit it through. So we had them try to move the bottom part back down. …

Recently moved using Allwest Moving and Storage and they were incredible! From the initial meeting with Ambrea, who was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The day of the move Allwest arrived promptly and with friendly and considerate staff. The move from start to finish was done with expertise and professionalism (and a bit of humor)! The gentlemen were efficient in moving our belongings and packed our big, glass furniture so securely to ensure none of the glass would break.

This is our second time using Allwest and another great experience. Ambrea came out and gave us a quote that was spot on. Glen, Vincent and Tito got everything moved in a day with no damage. What a bunch of nice guys too! They are true professionals. I called them magicians because of the way they got stuff up the stairs and into bedrooms that I could never conceive of fitting through a doorway. Thanks Allwest!
