Alpha Moving & Storage

First off they send someone out to assess your belongings, we were told to downsize to avoid a 2nd truck, we got rid of 4 times the amount of items they told us to sell and still ended up needing a 2nd truck. Then on the day of packing they sent a crew that could've done it in one day but chose not to. Upon delivery, their plan was to hire locals to help them unpack, as they couldn't find anyone I went from 6 packers to 2 people who as hard as they tried they couldn't carry some items to where I needed them to be.

My wife and I moved from Clarksville, TN to New Bern, NC. There was one crew that was initially moving us. Due to the amount of household goods, a second crew was brought in. The first crew was considerate with our belongings but the second crew was not. Not all of our household goods were placed on the inventory sheet. The second crew dropped and broke my $4000.00 gaming computer sometime during the pack out, storage or delivery.

I was initially happy about my move, that is until I began unpacking. Many boxes unlabeled, some mislabeled and then some vaguely labeled "misc". So far I have two remotes for my tv and sound bar that are missing. I'd thought they'd be with the items that were packed from my nightstand, since that's where they were. Nope. They're gone. I have no idea what room most of my unlabeled boxes are for, except for the kitchen. Anthony did a great job and labeled all of the boxes he packed.

Another Update: Only after a BBB threat did anyone reach out to me. The OWNER used an excuse of being out of town, yet he had spoken to his people the same evening of my move. I had to pay another month of rent and utilities due to their excessive lack of professionalism and motivation. Update: Well, I'm disappointed. Ive used this company twice, and those I've recommended them to have also hired them. They are another example of a company who loses its sense of customer service when they have no need for someone.

Saw the individuals in a yellow truck being followed by a white car that pulled into the mapco parking lot at 8:00 on a Friday April 11th they pulled through the parking lot at a high rate of speed more than you should in a gas parking lot as they pull through they bullied other cars out of their way by blowing their horns the person following them in a white car decides to eat their breakfast and throw all their trash out into the parking lot like there's some ingrate you need to talk to your boys I tell them…

I don't like give poor reviews but this company did me wrong. I had two moves with them. The first went great so I hired them again. The second was horrible. The main person on my team only cared about lecturing me on how to tip them …

The movers were on time they moved very slow my 1st 2 hours of service. They went over my original estimated quote by 5 hours. I will not recommend this company. The only thing that was positive was the manager gave a slight discount.

Took my 20 minutes of my life, ask all my personal information, just to tell me my washer,dryer, small sofa and a dresser (4 items) to be moved locally 6 miles distance, charging me a 742$...
