In their own words
On July 31, 2018, I sub-contracted through the incumbent company, River City Movers, to help my family and I during a military move. The company subsequently, provided two individuals for the move and I was instructed they were to be paid in cash. The movers arrived promptly and packed everything in an orderly fashion. However, during the latter part of the move, The "professionals" hastily packed a table into the moving truck, which is a family air loom, standing right- side up, with multiple boxes on top of it.
The Army contracted this company to move my household goods. It was an okay experience through packing until my goods were delivered and a handful of my items mysteriously went missing including a jar full of coins and other items of monetary value. I would recommend anyone stay away from this company like the plague unless they want their items stolen.

This company was selected for us by the transportation department of the US Army in Ft. Campbell. The day they arrived to pack our things, it was problem after problem from the get go. I can't be in two places at once to monitor the packing, so I chose one room. The packer took boxes of things, opened the boxes and dumped them into his brown moving box. Not giving any consideration to the order that things were in. He labeled everything MASTER BEDROOM, and he wasn't even in the master bedroom.
They packed random stuff in boxes, did not wrap any of our belongings and tossed smaller boxes into larger boxes. They cut open our smaller boxes and didn’t reseal them before they tossed them into the larger boxes. If I hadn’t have wrapped my important fragile items as carefully as I did, everything we own would have been broken. I do not recommend them as they don’t care about anything they do when they move your items. The two workers also gave us attitude and would cut us off when we spoke to them.

Roosevelt and team were amazing!! From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, professional. They were patient with me throughout the entire move—which deserves its own five stars because I was doing my best to stay out of their way while also wanting to engage in conversation with every single one of them. They followed instructions to the tee, and pivoted with patience when I changed my mind about what should go or stay. I really appreciated how they didn't just assume things were done.
River City Movers did a phenomenal job. They were prompt and professional. Roosevelt, Govin, and Connor were quick and unbelievably efficient. This was the fastest move I’ve ever had. Strongly recommend!

Packing is always the absolute worst part of moving, but these guys made it so ridiculously easy. They showed up, crushed the packing, and took super good care of all our stuff.
