Was always 2-4 hours late, after I was told they would be there by 9 am each day, and then wanted to work late into the evening (8-9 pm). Broken antiques and glassware. Showed up in a old mattress van with no headlight. Did not wrap any of my furniture to keep it from being dinged. Workers took frequent smoke breaks(every 15 minutes) and also smoked on my property without asking. Left all their cigarette butts for me to clean up.

What they said on the phone about what they were going to do for us, they lied about everything. Then they did cone with truck that was bigger to hold our stuff. They didn't show up on time, then they drag the time with the move, also they took time to gas on my time when they should already had gas. Please think a second time before using this company I was very disappoint with this company. Then they tried to overcharge us on the final bill. Pleaee You will definitely have to look over the bill

This moving company ripped my friend off this past week, taking money from her and ghosting her. She is a mom with two boys and doesn't have money to throw away. Terrible, terrible business practices... absolutely do not recommend.

This not only worst moving company I ever encountered but the worst company period I’ve ever encountered. We had another moving company cancel on us at the last minute and contacted Always Macon Moves. Our move was furniture from my mother’s house 40 miles away to my house in Macon. Even though it was the day of I was assured that they could handle it. They were shocked that another company had stood us up. They would never do that. They would hire other movers before canceling.

I have always used Good Guys in Macon and this time I did not and it has been the most expensive mistake of my life. 1) They legit just say one thing to your face and charge you something different. 2) Purposely slow as to run up the clock then took a lunch at 3 when the job started at 12:30. Did furniture assembly with manual tools. NO POWER DRILL? 3) Their 3 workers were sweet but they can’t lift a feather. Third floor is a hard move but one was struggling hard to carry my night stand.

Do not use this company. It's a joke The owner came with a rented U-Haul and his either girls friend or wife. He was supposed to come with 3 men and showed up with 3 high school boys. I asked one of the boys was this their job bc they looked so small and he said no we all go to the same high school and work when the normal workers aren't here on the weekend. 2 were the size of my 12 year old: My husband and the one boy capable of heavy lifting had to move all the heavy furniture. Up and down stairs in both houses.

Please please do not use this company. I, like many others, had a terrible experience with this company. I had scheduled a move on Friday. Was told that i would be charged $155 per hour for 2 guys, a $125 flat rate, and a $60 charge for an extra stop. They were supposed to come between 4pm-5pm to my storage. At about 5:15. I called to see where they were. Was told that the previous job was taking a bit longer. Called about 2 more times with both being told that they were almost finished with the previous job.

This was the worst move i have ever experienced. It started off with the mover stepping inside my home without even knocking. Every single thing that was touched is damaged. The movers arrived 5 hours late. They smoked inside of my house. They didn’t wrap anything like they said they would. They didn’t put any furniture back together and left everything a mess. All of the good reviews are probably from people they know. Do not trust them like i did.
