DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This company is absolutely deplorable! When they first showed up to move our stuff they only had one person show up, then he had to call on of his “friends” to show up and help him move out belongings. Then when they finally showed up with our belongs HALF of belongings were strapped to the OUSIDE of the moving trunk! Oh yes, you read that right, they had strapped our belongings to the outside of the truck!!!!
We do not move cars, nor strap furniture items to our trucks. We are located solely in Birmingham Alabama 35242. I suggest you look for the correct moving Company to file your complaint.
Booked with this company on 9/1 for a move on 9/12. They were a no show. Probably because I purchased off Groupon. Called me at 1 asking what time and I told them I needed them at 4. He said oh we can’t do that we only had two moved …
Ms. Dean, Groupon provides a stellar service and refunds if any issues. In regards to your unload, our movers called you at 1:00pm when they were in route to your home to unload your rental truck, within the 11-5 eta. They were told that they had to be there at 4pm.
I am not usually one to write reviews however, this company is completely unprofessional. I had one day to move out of my apartment. I was told the movers would be at my apartment between 8am-11am. At 8:30am they texted me and said their truck was broken and they would not be coming and they couldn't rescheduled for another week. I called and called and called for 30 minutes and never could get anyone to answer.

I had a terrible experience with this moving company. On Saturday, I had a moving window from 8AM-12PM. Around 8:20, I received an automated text message that I will attach below. The truck has broken down and their only option they provided was to reschedule for a week later. No one called. No one even answered the phone. Luckily, I was able to rent a U-Haul, so my plans were completely ruined, but this really is unacceptable.

Tried to use them last year when I moved. They texted me the morning of my move, an hour after the time frame of service began to tell me they ran out of trucks and could not longer service me that day. I only had that one day to move out of my apartment and frantically called friends to help. I tried calling them over and over that day and never once got through to any one. I just can't believe they texted me, they couldn't even call me to tell me they canceled my service. I will never ever use them again.

Awful service. Highly DO RECOMMEND! Furniture was broken during move. Management/Owner Mimi Clark has the worse level of professionalism. Company does not have any accountability for ruining people's personal/valuables item. This company is a complete scam and would not recommend doing business. Save yourself the headache. They break things and expect you to the leg work to resolve. Moving is already a chaotic process, they will intensify it by 10!

My movers were awesome no complaints there at all. My problem was that my time they said I used was 2:75 my coupon was for 2 hours for $76 that i prepaid for but was only deducted $180 off my total and I still ended up paying almost $300 for a small move the really only lasted 1hr 15min if it was that. I feel robbed to be honest I don’t recommend this company if you have a small move just do it yourself or just pay someone out of pocket.

I was given a Five hour window four the movers to show up. It was 2 hours past the window before the driver contacted me. Never heard from the office, Movers we tired and handled furniture very poorly and damaged several pieces. Not impressed, Would not recommend.

We scheduled American Eagle for our BIG move, and we were extremely pleased with our experience this past Friday. David and Carlton were the gentlemen that moved us. They called to let us know they were on their way, arrived promptly, quickly assessed the job, and got right to work. They were polite, professional, and very courteous. I am 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant and trying to move last minute. Aaron and Brandon were my movers. they called before coming and was on time. The were very professional and courteous. They explained the paperwork before I signed anything. They really took care of my furniture as if it was there own. They wrapped my dresser and tv stands so that no damage would come to them. They placed everything where I needed them to. If I ever have to move again I would definitely use this company once more.

This is my first time having to use movers and American Eagle out of Birmingham, AL did not disappoint! On the day of my move on 6/12 the movers show up Carlton, Michael and Keith. Shortly after their arrival I realize I can’t find the keys to my storage. I had a horrible night the night before and this was the icing on the cake. These guys were amazing to me! As I broke down in tears Michael and Carlton consoled me and assured me that all would work out.

Overall we were very satisfied with American Eagle Moving company. They were very hardworking, punctual, honest, and efficient. We used them for two moves in one week. We especially appreciated Hakeem, Aarron, Justice, and Michael. We had minor damage to a few items including a white couch, but overall we would still recommend. They did a great job!
