The movers from Anber did a "good" job on my move BUT they damaged some furniture. When I called the representative to report the problem (the one who came to do the assessment and with whom I signed the moving contract, Mr. Gr...), he was immediately very aggressive, incredibly rude, and unprofessional. Movers Beware! This is the second time I used Amber movers and will be the last. I did an identical move from type of building; elevators were ready and they could park right in front. I was the first move of the day and they arrived 45 minutes late and no reply at the office. (My time is worth money too). The move took 30% longer than last time not including travel time even though I have less boxes and furniture. They scratched the door and floor and basically told me too bad.

While in the past this company was ok. My recent experience was simply horrible. They broke stuff (tv, lamps etc), deny responsibility, they call you multiple times to berate you and say you have no morals for asking for compensation. They took almost twice as long to do the same move as the team a year previously moving the same stuff. It’s all subcontractors so no accountability.

I was not impressed with them at all, they were hired by my storage place to help move my furniture and remove the moldy wood from the floor , I had given them instructions and showed them what needed to be discarded from my locker, I then continued to move my items and they helped put my items in a temporary locker , once I had realized that my item was missing, I found out that they had thrown it out with all the materials for the garbage, when I contacted the company directly and told them that this had…

Very Pathetic Service. They broke my TV and other fragile items as well during the move. Even though I bought the insurance with the move but they refused for the insurance claim. The staff was very rude when discussing about the broken items. They make big claims to get the service but actually they are really bad. They are very unprofessional. I dont recommend anber mover at all

Anber Mover's owner Graham is not to be to be trusted. He totally miscalculated the size of the move and wanted to get 50% more on the delivery day and would not unload truck until receiving payment - all this without any notification. The men were decent. He is incredibly rude and uses the most offensive language. Stay away.

Worst experience I’ve had in life . After explaining in detail the furniture to be moved as well as the environment , I was sent 3 Pedro’s with an attitude who decided without a second thought they didn’t want to to the job . They gave me attitude and spent an hour standing outside , lazing , while I was myself with a friend moving bookcases down the stairs . They finally decided to extort cash from me ( over 2000$) to even consider the job they were hired for .

Horrible moving company... stay far away! They basically hire independent contractors to take care of the whole moving process. We hired this company for our move from Laval to Ottawa and they sent us a team that was managed by a 20 year old kid. It seemed like the kid was out partying the night before because he was out of it and he brought along his girlfriend to chat with during the move. They neglected to wrap my sofa's and all of them were stained with dirt and dust.
