The rating breakdown
1 of the 45 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Around The Block Moving Company are one or two star.
Worked out from 45 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other movers in McKinney
About the same as the middle of the 17 movers in McKinney we can publish a rate for.

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Everyone we dealt with were friendly and very professional. Any time I had questions they answered promptly. The two women who packed were excellent and efficient. On moving day, the three movers were great. They were careful with our furniture and belongings. This company deserves the 5 star rating! I would definitely recommend them.
Carolyn- Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you had an exceptional experience with our entire team, from our responsive customer service to our fantastic packing and moving crews.
After renovating my home, I needed help moving everything back in from storage. I found Around The Block Moving through a neighborhood Facebook group where several people recommended them. The team packed the last few fragile items I hadn't finished, loaded everything carefully, and even helped place the furniture exactly where I wanted it. Everyone was polite, patient, and easy to talk to. The whole experience felt organized from start to finish, and it took away so much of the stress.
David- Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Earning recommendations in local neighborhood groups means the world to our team, and we are absolutely thrilled that we could take the stress out of moving back into your beautiful, newly renovated home.
Extremely professional and efficient. Got done in half the time I was expecting and it’s a very fair rate. Will be using these guys going forward.
Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with Around The Block Moving Company! We’re thrilled to hear that our team exceeded your expectations by completing your move efficiently and professionally.
I thought these movers did a great job! They were fast, they showed up on time, and the bill at the end was actually less than expected. They took care of my furniture without scratching it or the floors. All three of the guys they sent were very nice and respectful. The only thing I did not like is that I had to write my entire credit card number down with the zip code and CVV code on paper that they kept.
Valerie- Thank you for the great review! Privacy is very important to us. When a customer's credit card information is taken for a deposit it is entered into our computer system. Once the deposit is run, only the last 4 digits of the credit card number are shown in our system.
