In their own words
I hate leaving bad reviews, but I hired ASR because they gave me the best quote and had such high google reviews. However, when it came time for my move, there was 0 communication. I had an arrival time of 9-10am with a call to let me know when they were on their way, and at 1030am I called them to see where they were as they had not shown up yet and I hadn't recieved a call. I was told they were already on their way, yet no one called to tell me.
They are good movers and great service . from first time . Of course some accidents this reason not 5 stars but good service . recommend .yes I recommend their services . Without any questions . Update .if any damages happened in your stuff . don't expect to pay by company . When you deal with the owner, you will be extremely very exhausting special mantel health and just want profits but not liability and this reason I downgrade my rate to one star if I can give zero I will do it .
We are sorry for your unpleasant experience with us. We will definitely improve our service quality. Thanks for your feedback.
I gave 1 star because that's the only way I could do the review. If ASR moving was the 1st moving company I've ever used I would never use a moving company again. Our movers showed up late, they didn't have even a screw driver to disassemble the furniture. My partner did all of that along with moving the items from the unit to the elevator. Showing up late is bad but showing up unprepared is unacceptable. We would have been better off renting a Uhaul since we did half the job ourselves.
The worst moving company we have ever had , and we have moved many times !!! Upon delivery of our stuff , we find out that there is furniture which is damaged and scratched , a hole in the linoleum floor in entry way etc................. very disappointed ! We moved from an 800 sq. ft. apartment , and moved only 10 minutes away !! We were charged for 7 hours ............ the prior move we had with another moving company did not even take 4 hours !!!
I really wish you could give a zero star rating because this company is horrendous. They say packing included but they do not help with packing at all. Anyone who uses this company should reconsider and chose another company. They false advertise and do not return a deposit which is supposed to be refunded after the work is completed.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I have to say that this company is extremely professional and hard working. They definately take pride in the job they do and how they do it. They showed up on time and started right at the job and wasted no time. Anees Gill and ismail were very friendly and communicated with me quite well. There wasnt a single spec of damage to either property or any of my belongings and the move was done in a timely manner.
I am truly so happy that I chose this Asr Moving service. They were punctual and got the job done quickly.I needed some larger furniture items moved and they made sure they were wrapped very well, and they worked well as a team to get us to our new location. It took a huge burden off my shoulders and at a good price point, too.I would recommend.
I can't begin to say how awesome this company is . I hired this company for a move from st.albert to Edmonton. They went the extra mile for my family and accommodated our special needs. My son and I are both disabled and I can't lift anything too heavy ( I was born with spina bifida). These guys worked tirelessly in the 30 degree heat to move me into my new place and set up my living room and my antique furniture ( which is incredibly complicated to take apart and put back together/let alone time consuming).
Thank you Alyson Rodger
Asr moving is the best moving company in Alberta and thankfully we made the right decision to consider them in our big move from Edmonton to Calgary. I can’t say enough about them specially Anees who was the transparent from the beginning, he made sure that we’ll get the best price without any hidden charges with correct truck size so all stuff can be easily fit and move without any hassle. He has the best team members who started their work very professionally without wasting a minute.
Thanks for your kind words Adil Ali. Please refer us to your friends and family.
