Very unprofessional, took 4 hours for a two hour move. They Broke some items as well durning the move.With that being said I had to move again two weeks later. Although I was initially planning on using them again I didn’t wanna take the risk since my first experience was so awful. Finally I had about 10 of their moving blankets and was courteous enough to try to give them back however three times in a row I was supposed to meet with them they no showed.
We recently had a move on 12/19/2022 within Atlanta suburbs. Movers were professional they did the job very well and we were so happy with it but while delivering our things to the house they lost a table which they loaded in the truck at last. There is no way to loose it as it’s a very heavy one and they do remember loading it to the truck. We called the movers(within few minutes after they left) several times to let them know the table is missing but they didn’t pick our calls initially.
Hello Mr. Vibin A, We have read over your concerns and are very happy to hear our crew did a wonderful job, - also, we are thankful for the repeat business. That being said, we are at loss of words regarding this mysterious "table" that had gone missing!
The move was ok. Only one of the three movers were actually efficient. They wrapped our couch, a three piece, and broke one of the piece, along with damages to the side. Contacted Chris and emailed him photos, he stated he will have a solution within 24 , this was back on January 21st. Ive been very patience, and its now February 10th and still no call back. Ive emailed and no response.
I have moved several times, both interstate and local, and this was by far the most frustrating experience I've encountered. Here are a few of my complaints: - The movers never called to confirm my appointment and were then an hour late - Despite being given a detailed inventory list of my possessions they recommended a truck that was not large enough. The moving team probably spent an extra hour trying to get everything in the truck.

AHM/GHM I have used twice now and do not recommend that anyone use them, especially if you are a single female as the experience I had during my move 2 months ago was literally a nightmare. 2 stars due to when I used them for my move 3 years ago they were great which is why I hired them again. The experience I had moving out of the same apartment they moved me into couldn't be more different. Firstly- the team arrived with one person nodding off in the elevator and not even introducing himself when they arrived.

I have moved 9 times in the last 12 years. I have a lot of experience with it, both doing it myself, and paying movers to help me. This was 2nd worst experience I've had hiring movers, only topped by another GA moving company that damaged almost all my furniture. It started out well, I spoke with Jon on the phone to book my time. He was friendly and very helpful with my questions. They gave me the window of 11:30-1:30.
Mr. Christian Marchello, We have received your feedback. First off, I,-Jon,- would like to apologize for the unsatisfactory services provided by our crew. More so, I apologize as if our phonecall had seemed "rushed",- as i was only sharing your frustration.
I’ve used movers 3 times in the past 4 years and these were… well the worst. They were so rough with my things. Boxes marked “FRAGILE” everywhere and organized as such were put on the bottom of the truck and smashed to bits. My $1000 dresser was put in a dolly as if it had no worth and stored on its side in the truck, it ended up falling over and smashing several boxes in the ride (it weighs a solid 500+ pounds, why you would put it on its side makes no sense).
Rebekah, We are sorry to hear we didn’t meet your expectations. Our crew completed the portion of the move requested within 3 hours to stay within your budget, but we regret that the experience still left you dissatisfied.
Update: dropping one star post their reply as they are not only unreliable but will lie to hide their mistakes. Most, if not all, calls were made by me about ETAs and their response was essentially we can't do anything because our crew is busy and can't arrive in the time window. Highly unreliable. Make sure that you schedule a move in the morning. We made the mistake of scheduling a move at 1 pm last month, and they didn't show up.

I recently hired Atlanta Home Movers to help me with my move to my new 3rd floor apartment. I was unsure and worried about how the day would go; however, my worrying was for nothing. They showed up on time and called ahead to let me know exactly when to expect them. Kevin and Warren, both introduced themselves to me and asked me to show them what needed to go. Then they got right to work. I have to say, these two far surpassed my expectations.
Ricky, Ethan, and Mike from Atlanta Home Movers did a phenomenal job from start to finish! They arrived right on time, scoped out the work, and thoroughly explained what they’d be doing before touching a single item. Their professionalism and attention to detail were clear from the get-go. I was impressed with how they carried heavy furniture up and down multiple flights of stairs like it was nothing, all while protecting my items with care.
I recently contracted Atlanta Home Movers for my relocation from Woodstock to Marietta and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism of the crew. They were efficient, courteous, and handled my belongings with the utmost care. One aspect that stood out to me was the excellent communication from the company. They kept me informed every step of the way, from scheduling the move to providing updates on the progress. I was particularly impressed by how careful they were with fragile items.
I honestly cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Atlanta Home Movers. My finance and I were condensing two households into one and moving into a new home all within the same city. I called five moving companies that I found on Google and this one was the friendliest and most competitively priced. We booked the move about two weeks out and got a few reminders and tips emailed beforehand. On the day of the move, the crew called before they arrived and showed up within the proposed window.
