Falcon Moving

Hiring Falcon for my move was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. They arrived over an hour late the day of the move, leaving little time before another tenant’s elevator reservation. In their rush to load my belongings they damaged an unacceptable number of items. Falcon overshot their initial estimate by over $1300 without any justification. To make matters worse, I later discovered one of the movers had several prior felonies. There is clearly little vetting of the individuals they hire.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will rip you off! They will lie to you ! Their movers are young men that are so disrespectful and unprofessional! They took 7 hours to do a 3 hour job. After contacting the general manager as he called himself iv been ghosted.

I have moved three times, including interstate moves. I have never in my life experienced anything like this crew. Two movers showed up at 9:47am for a standard 1BR apartment (arrival time was supposed to be 9am). Rug, sofa, TV, bed, dresser, two nightstands, desk, chair, vinyl cabinet, and boxes. At 11:56am, over two hours in, my sofa, TV, rug, and headboard were still sitting in my apartment. Loading a 1BR took 2 hours and 33 minutes. Let that sink in.

EDIT: 3/11/25 - Prospective clients should make special care to avoid paying in cash, and carefully read the contract to note the omission of coverage to damages to floors, walls, etc. Thanks to DeKalb Magistrate court for resolving the issues Falcon Moving would rather ignore. BUYER BEWARE- DO NOT HIRE FALCON MOVING.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I have used them for three moved and each time they were great. Sadly, this last time was the worst move I’ve ever experienced. The movers told me when they got there they would take amazing care of my stuff so there won’t be ANY need for Insurnace and to check the first box declining coverage. My fault for listening! They DRAGGED my peloton tread across the cement not only burning the cord but broke the base. $1259 later, they are only covering $174 of it.

EDIT 7/28/26: The reply from the company reflects incorrect information. I was told repeatedly my move had a hard start at 8 AM; there was no "arrival time window". Furthermore, reading is fundamental. My bed was never disassembled, which is what let to a marred headboard; therefore there is no need to reassemble it (though I appreciate the offer).

I’ve moved several times in my life, and Falcon Moving is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I was moving from a two-bedroom apartment with two flights of stairs to a house and was quoted 3–5 hours with a two-man crew. To start, they arrived 45 minutes late and showed no sense of urgency. Falcon sent two very young, clearly inexperienced movers. They loaded my boxes onto a dolly and proceeded to bang them against every single stair.

I have a very hard time believing they are a top ranked moving firm. The guys that did the moving did an excellent job - no question about that. But the estimate they gave me was half what it actually cost and that's after I removed a significant amount of work. They were supposed to be done by 7pm, but finished at 4am. Again, this is after I removed a lot of the work. I want to give credit to the owner for reaching out to me after my review. We had a good conversation about what went wrong and what went well.
