Atlanta Peach Movers

After scheduling my move my move coordinator was unresponsive regarding their proof of insurance which was required by my condo. I had to send several emails and make calls to no answer. Only after I threatened to cancel the service did they call me back. Packing was fine, however, came inmore than the estimate. On move day they showed up on time and worked quickly, however they broke my desk in the process. A supervisor came out and said they would send someone out the next day to repair the desk, but never did.

My first review was taken down at the emphatic request of Orlando Lynch, Owner of Peach Movers. Google depends on honest and forthright reviews and I was trying to save this company further embarrassment. We used Peach Movers on July 25, 2024. The sales Director came out six weeks in advance and wrote up proposal. The moving crew arrived at 8:15 AM with a truck about half the size we expected and needed. This was our seventh move in the last 40 years so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

I want to start off by saying the movers were great, but the owner lacks communication skills. Orlando’s team came to move us June 2025 and we were charged almost $1,000 over from the quoted price. We have reached out to Orlando and team without any response. Although the movers were great, I wouldn’t use this company. Make sure you ask about all hidden cost that’s not on your initial quote.

They make it extremely difficult to get compensation after you go through the hoops to make a claim......they never paid me. That aside, the actual movers were great; they work so hard!!

It is hard to imagine how any company could have done a worse job for us. I called Atlanta Peach well in advance of my move and made an appointment for packers to arrive the day before the movers. I received emailed paperwork to confirm everything, and I worked hard to get ready for the move. The day the packers were to arrive, they never showed.. I called Atlanta Peach and was told that a “VIP” customer had needed help and that the packers would not arrive the day before the movers, as I had been promised.

They were horrible. They damaged so many of my belongings including my brand new painted walls and the process for compensation is laughable. It is an outsourced company that handles claims and everything is done through a link. You never speak with a human neither is there a customer service number for the claims company. By the way they packed and unpacked everything. I didn't care to address every claim but now my daughters are without a dresser and I am liable for the damaged to a brand renovated apartment.

We hired APM because they were responsive and seemed to know what they were doing. We have a lot of antiques so our first priority was someone who would handle those with care. On that they did great. No scratches or issues. However, the team was very slow and it felt like no one was in charge. They took their time such that it felt like they were doing everything they could to get to the number of hours quoted.

I understand APM has many positive reviews which may overshadow mine in number. However, how a company handles situations when events don't go well speaks volumes about an organization's integrity. The first time we hired APM the move went well and we were very pleased. The second time and events described below is representative of how this company handles situations that don't go well. We contracted with APM for a long distance move.
