In their own words
Postives: Did the move, met the deadlines, many boxes packed really well, go the stuff where it needed to go, they gave me a discount it appears due to the car pick up issues, the crew were nice to work with. Negatives: Sales person Garrett messed up the move date and time line and staff didn't catch it, poor communication and coordination with staff members, some furniture was packed in a way that caused damage in transport especially with the legs of furniture, one guy simply put glass things in a box without…
This was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company — moving or otherwise. I went with Bailey’s because a family friend knew someone who worked there which proved to be a big mistake. From the first interaction to the last, this company proved to be shady, careless, and completely unprofessional. The driver and movers were rude, pushy, and constantly tried to squeeze more money out of me — asking for extra cash, tips, even sending their Venmo accounts via text message after the move.
I worked with Jonathan Cordova for our recent move from Woodland Park, CO to Bayonne, NJ. Jonathan was generally quick to respond to emails; however, Jonathan was misleading in two areas. 1) Jonathan verbally stated that the truck driver would be able to give me the "exact date" that the shipment would arrive at the destination once the driver showed up on move day. When the movers got here, there was no "driver"—just "loaders" who had rented a Penske truck to take our stuff to a facility in Colorado Springs.
Horrible experience with Bailey’s in February 2023. We were moving into my new home in the Colorado Springs area. The trucks arrived on time with four healthy guys who worked really hard, and one guy who was injured and could hardly walk. The leader of the group was an obese female, who did nothing but complain the entire day.“why do you have so much stuff?“ and “why is your stuff so heavy?” and “no one told us there was a piano!“ —even though that was explicitly listed on the contract.
Don't let these people near your home. After retiring from the military, this company was selected by TMM to pack our home and store everything for about 4 months. During the packing process, it was obvious that the three young men representing this company had no idea what they were doing. One of them attempted to move our triple dresser and night stand down 3 flights of stairs alone on a dolly. The result was our furniture falling off the dolly and being damaged.
I am a physician who unfortunately was a recent customer of Bailey's. This review will be brief as it has been a painstaking move being involved with this company. There has been lack of professionalism, coordination, lack of communication, and worst of all significant loss neglect and damage to personal property that we have always maintained in meticulous condition. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to look elsewhere immediately.
My experience with this company had no positivity that I can write about. I understand that no one will care about my items like I would myself, but it is appalling how little care and effort was put into taking care of my belongings. Items were broken that cannot be replaced, even after I specifically stated that certain items needed to be handled in a certain way (I was unable to hand carry these items due to the nature of the move).
This is a ZERO star! For starters, let me tell your future customers that you charged our family of three $38,595.14 to move from Salida Co to Galena MO. That is a clear indication of a rip off! Second, every single box you packed that we paid you for in our garage was UNMARKED, including the glass shelf that was only wrapped in paper and shattered into a million pieces! Our garage is in our living room and my clothes are in the garage!

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I recently used Bailey's Moving and Storage for a full‑house move from Minden, NV to Colorado Springs, CO, and they delivered exactly what they promised. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled our belongings with real care. Communication throughout the process was excellent — every step was clearly explained, and they kept me updated during the long haul. What stood out most was their professionalism.
Charles, thank you for sharing your positive experience with Bailey's Moving & Storage. We're thrilled to hear that our team met your expectations and made your move from Minden, NV to Colorado Springs, CO a seamless experience.
James, Brian, Connor and Vivienne were exceptional, professional, and right on time. Connor did the assessment and estimate, he was extremely polite, professional and informative. Vivienne coordinated my move, she was intuitive and adaptive to immediate situations, always on top of things. Connor and Vivienne never left me wondering or wanting for a follow up. James was the driver. He was punctual, easy to work with and flexible. He was also very thorough with the inventory on both ends of my move.
Bailey’s was very professional, friendly, empathic to my concerns and needs, and very responsive when I asked questions. The packers did a great job although it’s my opinion that boxes could be labeled better listing more items in each box, especially the kitchen boxes. The coffee mugs ended up being in a box with decorative items in a box labeled living room. The only other suggestion would be to mark packing that has items wrapped up.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Allied and Bailey's out of Colorado Springs for our move from Buena Vista, CO to Asheville, NC. We worked with Connor and Vivian at Allied to get the move scheduled and they were incredibly thorough and responsive as we moved through the contract and scheduling. We even had to reschedule our set move and Connor was incredibly accommodating. Additionally, they were the most cost reasonable company we found in our area!
Thank you so much for your review, Marisa. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. - Bailey's Moving & Storage
