iHaul iMove Moving Company

So the movers were great but... the quote I was given was not right. I described the Job in full over the phone. When the movers showed up they thought they were moving an apt. No one cared to listen to what I was moving on the phone I guess. The. Half way through it a woman in a white Tesla pulls up and barges into my business while it was closed ignored me continued to talk on her phone and then bathed right out and left. Unprofessional as it gets. I will never use these guys again. Treat your customers right.

It is with regret that I write this review. I had hoped to leave a 5 star review for Matt but sadly, I cannot in good conscious recommend this moving/packing company. Our initial meeting went great, and Matt left us feeling confident in his company and his staff. We hired Matt and his staff to pack up our entire house, take it to a storage facility and then move our belongings into our house once it was ready and reassemble the pieces they had taken apart when packing.

We have moved across the country and around the world eight times, and somehow this simple 20-mile, $2,500 move caused more damage than all of those international and cross country moves combined. That is quite an accomplishment; one worthy of numerous accolades. To be fair, communication before the move was excellent and the movers were kind and worked hard. Unfortunately, they also worked a little too hard on our belongings. We bought the damage insurance, and boy are we glad. We needed it. BIGLY.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this moving company to be extremely skeptical of their estimates. We were quoted approximately $3,500 for our move, based on roughly 3 hours of packing with a three person crew, 3 hours of moving with a four-person crew, plus approximately 1.5 hours of travel time on each day. For context, the home was approximately 3,800 square feet, and it was not even fully furnished. The company was aware of the size and scope of the move when providing the estimate.

We hired this company to load a POD in July 2022. We had a total of 3 PODs, but only one was loaded by iHaul iMove. There was zero damage in the other PODs but the entire POD loaded by this company was ruined. A few broken glasses would be one thing, but we lost 3 chairs, a desk, a drum set, and other furniture due to total destruction (not to mention breakage in almost every kitchen box). Most other furniture had severe scratches.

I’m only giving them one star because Google requires a minimum of one; if I could give zero stars, I would. Total bait-and-switch. Do not waste your time with this company. Their website heavily promotes a "small moves" service, specifically advertising single-item transport and Facebook Marketplace pickups. It is an absolute joke. I needed a disassembled executive desk moved exactly one mile from my home to my office. No assembly, no packing, just a quick 1-mile haul.

Just terrible customer service! The crew do good work, they hustle, they are friendly, and they get the job done fast. But it would seem this company has an integrity problem, and they don't put the customer first. They charge the same for labor as they do for travel time, which feels gimmicky and like they are trying to take advantage of you.

Let me start with our movers were amazing. Clayton, Luis, Cylk- I’m impressed and applaud them. However Matt the CEO was less than impressive. This company over charges and takes advantage. They place blame on their workers and clients and I it screams lack of accountability. We paid 2,986 to be moved from East Colorado Springs into Falcon. And after what sounds to me like miscommunication between Matt and my husband- who is a disabled veteran- Matt was very quick to place blame on anyone but himself.
