In their own words
We used this company back in April to pack and load our belongings into PODS. Their initial estimate was 6-8 hours, but it took them two full days, despite no changes to what we had discussed during the walk-through. We considered it a wash initially, bc they were able to efficiently pack our items into two PODS instead of needing three. However, after arriving at our destination, we found many valuable items were significantly damaged due to poor packing and loading.
I would use extreme caution when working with this company. They damaged several items of ours during the move. Including damage to our front door (which I later fixed and re-painted), scratched our piano (again something I was willing to overlook) and finally not only did they damage an 7' antique mirror, but then left the piece wrapped up so we didn't see the damage until they were long gone, and were unable to find the pieces that were broken off.

Please stay away from this company by all means. I contacted the owner of this moving company through one of his advertisements on facebook. I booked a truck loading only job with him, spoke on the phone and fixed the price. On the day of move, I called him many times from two different numbers, left multiple messages on facebook but in vain. I was really desperate to get my stuff loaded so I kept on calling him. After 2 hours, instead of calling me back, he replies on facebook asking me to call him back.
If I could give a million negative stars I would. This company takes their time to rack up your bill and will hold your stuff hostage until you pay them more than your agreed amount. DO NOT USE this company. Save yourself the time and money and find a different moving company.

I was impressed at the start as they were loading the truck and seeing how snug everything was in the truck. It was as we unloaded that I saw the damage to my wood furniture as they stacked sharp items on top of wood without anything in between and (we did have a stack of blankets) and it damaged a lot. heavy items stacked on particle board items that splintered.
Probably would not use again. After asking for an estimate online 3 different people called me. I gave info to one guy who said he’d call me back in 15 min but never did. Another person called hours later and seemed to have none of the info I previously gave. We set a time but I actually don’t know if that was the same person who helped me move. The day of the move they called me 10 min before they were supposed to be there and said they were 8 minutes away. 50 minutes passed.
Not at all happy with my experience. First off, I booked the 5-6 PM time slot. Ok it was 5:45 and no one has shown up or contacted us....until about 5:50...they finally get to my old place at 6:11pm. After my husband and I had left work early to make sure we were on time only to wait forever. So they get started on getting our things into the uhaul and....they are taking their sweet time and of course they are because they get paid by the hour.
All the workers were friendly, owner was not. We asked for a two day move and my wife provided list of items and told them size of our storage units. We asked for a change of days due to rain and they said no problem. Unfortunately it was difficult to track who was working as a couple people left mid day and new guys showed up. Lots of standing around with an empty truck and not going to our storage units. Runners were old and filthy.

I had an awesome experience with This Is How We Move It! From the moment they arrived, the team was professional, efficient, and incredibly careful with my belongings. They handled everything with care and worked quickly without cutting corners. Communication was great throughout the entire process, and they made what could have been a stressful day go incredibly smoothly.
Jarred and his team were amazing! I had hired another company that didn’t show up and these guys were able to be there with very short notice, for a great price! They got everything done quickly while taking great considerate care of my things and were great to communicate with through the entire process from booking to the end!

Wow!!! Keeping in Moving really IS the best moving company in Colorado Springs!!! Well, I've never really used a real moving company because I thought it was really expensive. My husband and I have moved 15 times in 24 years. We usually have family or friends or people from church help us. We have always had people willing to help us. COVID-19 changed that for this move, so I called my friend Jarred Scott, who owns Keeping It Moving. He came over to see what needed to be moved and asked for my budget.
