Very rude to me when i was wanting information on piano moving. Was short with me and annoyed at my questions. May have good pianos but bad customer service
Nua, this review is false. You sent multiple spam messages promoting your business on Facebook Marketplace, none of which were about us moving a piano for you, and I asked you to stop.
I booked tuning and they were about 2 weeks out before I could get a tune. I found somewhere else that could tune in about 3 days. I totally forgot to cancel the appointment with this company but remembered the day of (20 mins before my appointment unfortunately) quickly called and asked if it was too late to cancel. I didn’t remember what time the appointment was. Anyway the person I spoke with was very mad at me understandibly, but still shouldn’t be rude to your customers.
Myra, We’re sorry you had a bad experience with our company. We hope you can understand that our technicians are booked that far out because of their experience and expertise. We try to schedule the appointments in the same area to save driving time and expenses.
Really just a terrible experience. We called a month or so before we moved to get a quote to move our piano. I can't remember what we were quoted exactly, but it was a reasonable price. But then we called again about a week later to see how much it was to store the piano for 4 weeks rather than do a same day move. We were quoted something different for the move than we did the week before (about $325), plus the ~$60 to store for four weeks. We opted to store it for four weeks.

I recently had my mom's grand piano moved, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service. From start to finish, the team was professional, careful, and efficient. Moving a grand piano is no small task—it requires both skill and strength—and they handled it with the utmost expertise. The movers arrived on time, came prepared with the right equipment, and treated the piano (and my mom's home) with great respect.

We are so impressed with their service and their price. Our piano was in the basement of our split level entry home and it had been so difficult to get it into the basement that we thought we were going to have to sell it with the house if my parents eventually moved. Well, 50 years later it is now time for the parents to move and the Barrus Piano movers managed to get it out of the basement and to my parents’ new condo with no damage to themselves or to the house or piano.

When my last living parent passed away suddenly last month I inherited the baby grand piano that I grew up learning to play on. I had three piano moving companies tell me they couldn't move the piano into my basement due to a tight turn on my basement stairs. Each rejection felt so emotional.
