It started out great. The quote was great, they made a thorough list of inventory and everything we needed moved. Then, they forgot a bunch of stuff and had to come out another day to move what they had forgotten....not a huge deal. Then they damaged my refridgerator to the point of it being inoperable. No worries, they were going to send a repair person...it was clearly their fault. They dropped the fridge in front of my entire family. Repair person never called or came, so I called back several times.

The only reason that I did not write this review earlier is that at the time of the move, I was in utter and complete grief over the death of my mother. At that time, I also did not realize the full extent of the way that these movers took advantage of me, all the while literally destroying my property. I had an 850 square foot apartment to move, two bedrooms, a small bathroom, galley kitchen and living area, period.

They did an AMAZING job moving some of my furniture. I have very heavy pieces and they took great care with them. Unfortunately, their service ended there. From the beginning, they came out to do an estimate so I knew exactly what I was going to have to pay. They were slightly higher than the other companies, but because they came out and saw our inventory, we decided to go with them so that there wouldn’t be any surprises.

I have moved several times in my life but this one was the worst, was told they cover mattresses and furniture, did not liars liars, then when everything wouldn’t fit on truck they wanted us to leave things, told them no way so they had to get another truck which meant two trucks more mileage more gas, they broke so many things I just wanted to scream, I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to use the people, you could close your eyes and pick anyone and they would be better.

They would not move me due to racism and still tried to charge me. Needed to move before my rent was due. Would not use this place and found a much cheaper service and very helpful movers elsewhere.

We recently used Bearded Brothers Moving Group for move from Mercer County, Pennsylvania to New York City, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish! Nick - the moving coordinator - was incredibly polite, responsive, and effective throughout the entire process. He was also very flexible when our plans changed, which made a potentially stressful move much easier to manage.
My experience with this moving company was awesome. The men were on time, professional, and efficient. Moving is such a stressful event, and the movers' demeanor and efficiency made me feel more relaxed. Moving is expensive, but their estimate was in line with another company I received an estimate from. They completed the job done an hour sooner than the estimate. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs!
