I had an extremely disappointing experience with Beaver Creek Storage in Hagerstown, MD. My privacy was violated when staff entered my storage unit without prior notification, which was neither an emergency nor a compliance inspection. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue amicably, their unprofessionalism and lack of respect for tenant rights made it impossible to continue doing business with them.

They rip you off!! Why do I have to pay a month when I only owed for 4 days!! Well, I called and I was told that's just how it goes. We have mice in our unit, she says that's just what happens!! So not only do they rip you off, they are disrespectful, ignorant, and Nothing has been done to FIX ANYTHING!! I have insurance I called to get the number, she hung up on me 4 times. This is person SHOULD NOT BE DOING ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
If you are talking about our monthly subscription, we do not handle the customer service portion of that. However, if you give us a call and explain your situation, we would certainly be happy to assist you and fix this.
Everyone you talk to is the boss... VERY unprofessional!!!! They cut the wrong lock off my sister's unit and tried to charge her for July rent in June...then they wouldn't let her in the unit to her belongings or give her a new lock until she paid!!!!! Illegal and TACKY!!!!!! Jennifer says one thing and Mauree says another.
We are sorry for any misunderstanding, but the contract you signed clearly states our regulations regarding renting from us. We run our business based on the Maryland Self Storage Association's legal regulations.
I implore you—stay far away from this storage facility. Incorrect records, inconsistent billing, and improper business practices are commonplace for this business. Thank goodness for our short stay, as we could not wait to escape our lease.

Very nice people when renting to you but when something goes wrong all they will do is email you insurance info. I lost almost all of my furniture and most of stuff that was not cloth. A 10x15 unit covered in mold my unit was biohazard. …
Certainly sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with Beaver Creek Storage, however insurance is required for this reason. And with insurance comes a process and procedure to follow; which includes but isn't limited to, accurately valuing your own belongings when selecting coverage rates.

They are the rudest people you can deal with, they don’t have the slightest bit of concern for customers etc, not to mention storage units are dirty and unkempt! Weather and rodents have access to the units to destroy property

The best company to rent climate controlled storage in Washington County Maryland, hands down. A brand new facility, reasonable rates, and top notch security all around the property. I wish I would have known about Beaver Creek storage sooner than I did, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time and money with Valley storage, who's had a monopoly on the climate controlled storage in the area for a long time.
