In their own words
Worst moving experience. Due to closing date delayed, our furniture & boxes were put into storage. To this date we are missing a box with dishes, my rolling pin I have had over 60 years, a wall hanging anniversary gift from our daughter, cook books, (Children’s Golden Books) a Lions Club broom, that I am aware of. NO effort had been made to locate our missing items. When I asked about locating our missing items, the answer was we had already cost him money.
CONTRATORS AWARE!!! … More
I contracted Hilker's Office Moving & Residential LLC to help me move into my retirement home in April 2025. During the move my table was badly damaged. Sean accepted the damage was caused by them. Sean told me they would pay for the repair. The repair was quoted to be $2700. We agreed on an amount & I was told a check would be sent. A month later - no check, left a message. His mother called - check’s in the mail. More calls - nothing. I am very frustrated with their lack communication and resolution.
Mrs. Rice I finally just seen this and it’s quite disheartening to me that you would write this instead of contacting me. The check went out never cleared. I find it amazing that I’m just seeing this. And you never contacted me, but with … More
Don’t use this company!!! He reneges on his agreement. Doesn’t do what he says. The picture you see online for storage doesn’t look like that in person. It’s cluttered and dirty. In addition, We agreed on a price verbally over the phone (I was out of state) for a bed that I purchased at an auction, when I went to pick it up less than a month later I was told that I owed more than the agreed amount.
Well if I may say so folks this is absolutely Crazy! First this crazy Karen is not affiliated nor a client of Hilker’s Moving LLC period never was! I stored this bed as a Hurley Auction purchase that was taking place in the neighborhood which our business is located.
Packed and stored belongings from WV house and moved belongings to Florida Some very important to me, items collected from world travels did not arrive I contacted Sean and he dismissed me ! Very upset that these boxes are missing and they were in his possession They were misplaced or given to someone else Not happy at all!
