There were some nice aspects of this service— it was easy to book, no one hassled me, customer service was friendly when I called. The move itself was a pretty chaotic and negative experience. I will caveat that our move happened on one of the hottest days do the year. I wish they had cancelled/rescheduled instead of working through it and getting tired, and injured from the heat. The arrival window was 8-9 and they came at 10. It took 5 hours for a 3 bedroom/3 story move, without moving our kitchen.

Totally unprofessional and outright disrespectful. Also you will never speak to come one local, all calls are outsourced so very hard to get help when you need it. Hands down worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Lamonte and his team (the mikes) were exceptional. Lamonte who coordinated the move was extremely helpful and professional.

Do not use this company. They cancel on me twice the day of my move. There’s no repercussions for the company because they outsource their movers. Please do not use them. Save yourself the time. The service area for the moving company was never communicated. They accepted and confirmed my moving time and location and then the movers never showed up. The reply to this is a lie.

NEVER NEVER NEVER GO WITH BELLHOPS FOR YOUR MOVE. *Update: The apology in the comment below is hollow without compensation that actually covers the damages. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP ON MOVE DAY. THEY ARE NOW CHARGING US MORE MONEY FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND FAILING TO ACKNOWLEDGE WRONGDOING. Going with Bellhops has been a horrible, stressful, and enormous time-sink of an experience. I cannot give a low enough rating.

Do not use this company for long distance moving if you remotely values your items. Truck was packed with absolute disregard for my things. Clearly labeled fragile boxes under heavy book boxes so boxes caved in on themselves. Provided ample mattress pads and shrink wrap, they just did not use it. $1800 Oled TV placed last, under a strap, dropped and broken. Huge scratches on wood furniture, broken chairs, broken tables, broken glass. An absolute nightmare. More items broke and destroyed than made it safely.

I had scheduled my move 2 months in advance. Reached out the week of after emails said call to confirm, which I did and was assured everything was on track. 10pm the night before my 8am move I get email that my move has been canceled. I was shocked. I put a deposit down and was assured no issue. I called first thing in the morning. While on the phone I was charged the remaining balance for my already canceled move. $1,200 gone!

If want your antiques and furniture that you love broken - call Bellhop Movers and get your wishes answered! They put thr furniture that they damaged behind boxes so that I would not see the damage. The company is very disorganized and have no integrity. They will say that they will make up for the damage and the mess that was made in not putting furniture out where you want it but they didn't tell the truth. They will not answer your phone calls.

My move was to occur at 10 after being told they would arrive in 15 minutes no one showed up told would arrive at 2 then at 4 then at 6 then 8 at 830 told would be 915 and we said to reschedule for next day. Day 2 got one phone call to schedule and at same time text movers would arrive in an hour Help number is all AI no human helpers. The actual movers who did show up did a ok job and were polite. But billing is to be by QRCode for start and end time and the movers had no idea what to do with that.
