Bellhop Moving - Cleveland Movers

Do not Use this company. Check out the BBB website. Terrible service from Bellhop. Jennifer Penn will not get back to me, when she offered a laughable settlement. Movers from Jacksonville were terrible and unprofessional. Their preparation for moving my items was like a toddler trying to put his toys away. Broke glass, scratched tables, broke my portable heater base, chipped furniture and a box has gone missing with an iPhone and my medications.

I would give this company negative stars if that were at all possible. I wish you were right to think I'm being dramatic. But the experience was nightmarish, causing more angst and wasting more time than if I were to move everything myself. Don't be confused, this company is a broker/middle man. They contract their drivers and movers with little to no quality control. You don't know what you're going to get and clearly neither do they. So about the move. I was initially given a 3-4 hour window. The driver arrived.

Bellhops provided a HORRIBLE moving experience. On the date of my original move the only person to arrive on time was the driver. The first bellhop arrived an hour late and the second bellhop didn’t arrive until an hour before the move was to be completed. On that day they did a “limited move” which involved only getting the bare essentials to my new residence. On the day we rescheduled the move to be completed I received a phone call 1 hour before the move was to start informing me that their driver quit.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! UNRELIABLE! CANCELLED DAY OF. I booked bellhop for a move from downtown to the east side of Cleveland. The initial experience online was easy and customer service was very pleasant. I did receive a call from the movers a few days in advance confirming Services. What was NOT made clear as that this company is contracting private movers and trucking companies to the job, Not Bell Hop specific truck, driver, or movers.

**** BEWARE *** BELLHOP MAY END UP SCREWING YOU OVER. I booked through Bellhop’s website a few days before my move as it advertises itself as an option for last minute moving services. The order was confirmed and I was sent a contract which I executed the day prior to the move. Approximately 2.5 hours before my scheduled start time, I received a message from Bellhop stating they did not secure a team and asked if they could reschedule the move for 5 days later.

Our movers were slow moving only our furniture from one apartment to another 1 mile apart. My wife and I had moved everything except what we were not able to carry prior to our big moving day. The movers were quite nice, however, and pleasant to work with. The worst part about Bellhops comes after the move actually happened. My wife and I went over to our old apartment to cover up and Magic Eraser any dents or dings on the walls and we were greeted with a deep gouge into a door.

BEWARE OF BELLHOP!! I booked a labor only move which did not require a truck because I was moving from the 2nd floor of my apartment building to the 3rd floor. I was not told that moving equipment was not provided and that I would need to provide the moving equipment for my move during the sales call. What company makes the customer provide moving equipment for a move they are paying for?!?! I have NEVER heard of such thing!! The drivers left without completing my move and left my bedroom a MESS!

I signed up for service approximately two weeks ago. I've paid them at least $800 and nothing has been moved. Not a single. Pencil. Has been moved. They claim that they came during the scheduled time, which they did not, and I waited most of the day. They never showed up. They canceled my order but kept my money. I then proceeded to try and reach them for a week and A half with no luck. Surprisingly they pick up the sales line but do not pick up the service line.
