Bellhop Moving - Kansas City Movers

They truly deserve zero stars. Bellhop is horrible ! Do not! I repeat do not move with them. The third party movers they partnered with showed up late to load my truck in Atlanta and they all showed up late to unload my trunk in Kansas City. Not to mentioned they broke my dresser because they packed it wrong. They put the dresser on its side instead of just sliding it on the truck upright. No accountability. Not reliable! If you're thnking about going with Bellhop... Get somebody else to do it!

I hired Bellhops to move me 11 miles, from one apartment to another. I contracted with them for 3 hours, which included a 26-ft truck, driver, and 2 movers . I spent 30 minutes booking the move with a female employee, on the phone, providing an in-depth list of all my goods and furniture. On the day of the move, my 3 hour move somehow was stretched into 10 hours. The team was lazy, incompetent and unsuitable to the task.

I'm really having a hard time believing all of the glowing reviews considering my experience. 1. I scheduled an 8am move time and someone called two days before the move to say they didn't have enough trucks, so they'd need to reschedule me for 2pm. 2. Ten minutes before the move I was informed that one of the three movers wasn't showing up, so we wouldn't be charged for three people. Gee, thanks. 3. The movers were sweet kids, but far from professional.

HORRIBLE AND DISRESPECTFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They cancelled my reservation with LESS THAN A 24 HOUR NOTICE. When I called to figure out why I was told by their rep very rudely that they "can't control people if they back out that's not our fault". They have NO policy to accommodate if your team gets sick or something comes up so you can be SOL within 24 hours or even a few hours before. Was given no alternative or accommodation besides a reschedule for 3 days later.

My husband and I used Bellhops Moving for the first time and I would highly recommend that you DO NOT use them. Let me preface this statement by saying to each their own but I don’t have furniture from IKEA or Walmart. My furniture reflects the fact that I don’t have small children in the home anymore, so when we paid movers to move the heavy pieces, I had no idea that they’d damage my furniture and then not even have the decency to tell me they did before ending their services with us.

I used Bellhop to move from Dallas to Kansas City, which is considered a Long Distance Move. I booked the move months in advance since schedules can fill up quickly. I called Bellhop to change my move date (move it up a month) after trying to get ahold of my Moving Coordinator, Ben Oates, and having no luck. The woman I talked to told me since my move was a couple months out, I wasn’t important. I told her the entire reason I was calling was because I needed to change my move date to a month sooner.

I would give a zero star if I could. First they changed my time from 8am to 2pm. This was very inconvenient by I was understanding. The day of moving at 2pm, there were 3 movers present but no truck. At 2:30 pm the lead mover let me know that there was not a truck coming and they would have to go rent a truck. At 4:05 they returned with a rental truck. By then it was raining and cold but they proceeded with the move.

Incredibly incompetent, lazy, and untrustworthy. I frankly felt like I should have been supervising these folks and really wish I had. I want to preface that I had a good experience with them 2 years ago. This time around it was a completely different story and I'm so disheartened. The movers arrived at late, but didn't scan QR code. Leader said it wasn't necessary and he'd already clocked in despite this code stating it was in fact required. They also didn't scan to leave.
