Moving Proz Kansas City

This moving company moving proz Is the most unethical unprofessional company i've ever had the misfortune to deal with. We were overcharged five hundred dollars they broke many things. The driver Was rude obnoxious and aggressive. The lead person was even worse. Some of the crew was very aggressive, Beautiful art deco knob from my high boy went missing. All the knobs were loose I sincerely feel they were trying to steal them.

UPDATE: Updating my review after nearly two months of follow-ups with Moving Proz. The packing was chaotic and careless. Items that belonged together were split across unrelated boxes, many of which were poorly labeled or not labeled at all. Lamps were packed without shades or hardware, TV cords never made it over, and household items were scattered between rooms in ways that made them effectively lost. Weeks later, I’m still dealing with the fallout. What made this worse was the response afterward.

At first, everything was great and the movers were really friendly. Then I started to notice that Kyle was on his phone a lot instead of actually working. Then they told us that they couldn’t take all of our items because they were running out of time. When they were moving the items in our new apartment, I was told that Kyle and Corey were complaining a lot and didn’t want to touch or move some of our items.

My move went fine. The guys complained a bit about having to move some of my stuff, but I was totally willing to overlook that. I've complained at work before. I get how it is. However, the next week, Moving Proz sent out a different crew to move my roommate and canceled her move because one of the guys was allergic to cats and we had cat hair on the carpet. The most insulting part is that my roommate was still charged a large cancellation fee for something outside of her control (someone else's allergy).

This company promises a level of service that it does not deliver. On the first day of packing, the team left early before finishing the task. The second day's loading was handled by a slightly different team with the same team lead, which led to additional packing and moving of unpacked items, unnecessarily extending the day. I would have preferred they stayed longer on the first day when the rate was lower. Many items were left behind, as noted during my walk-around with the team lead, Steve.

I have filed complaints with the Missouri and Kansas Attorney General’s offices, my bank and as well as the BBB. Update: my bank and the Attorneys General office agreed and asked me to file Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration as well. I’m I had to cancel my move with Moving Proz three days in advance due to an unavoidable change. Despite giving several days’ notice, I was told I’d be charged 35% of the total cost to cancel—the same fee they would charge just to reschedule.

I’ve come back and had to edit our review from 5 stars to 2 stars after arriving to our new house. At first I really liked the kids who were our movers even though they showed up seeming really slow and tired, and forgot their dollys and didn’t have enough packing tape to wrap furniture (they used ours which was fine). It took almost an hour for one of them to go back and get them from their headquarters but once they arrived they moved our stuff quickly.

I didn't have a "number" in mind. Its simple logic. You sent a three man crew this move that took TWICE AS LONG AS A TWO MAN CREW. This crew has a pattern of behavior of doing this to your customers.
