Best Fit Movers San Diego

If I could give 0 stars I would. Thieves! Stole our stuff AND overcharged us! We used this company because of the ratings but after the initial crew did not show up they sent us two guys in an unmarked truck that mentioned they just were sitting on their couch when they got the call to our house. These two gentlemen were suppose to follow us from Ramona to Vista and took almost 2 hours before finally showing up. Once they arrived and the truck was unloaded over $2,000 in items were missing.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER INTERFACE IT SYSTEM. I’m told one thing in their automation system and then on the day of the move I get “Twilight Movers” not best fit, they came 2 hours late, I could not understand the mover’s communication and tried to be culturally sensitive while he thought I was making fun of him.. and the company was closed by the time I called them to resolve the issue.

Absolutely the worst! Do not trust these reviews. This company is a complete fraud. They charge an exorbitant amount of money almost $10,000 and delivered our 75 inch TV with a cracked screen. They refused to file a damage claim. Do not use this company.!!!!

I called many places to move my stuff from San Diego to Laguna Beach. I had some small furnitures like chair, two tables, headboard and some boxes. This company misled me and lied to me about the charges. They told me that they charge minimum of 4 hours at the rate of $169 if I pay cash and they charge $100 for the fuel. They don’t say anything about charging one hour return to San Diego.I agreed.

I had a move with Best Fit Movers on July 31 and have been trying to get issues resolved since August 1. Communication has been extremely poor and unacceptable. I called multiple times a week and left four voicemails prior to August 29 with no response. On August 29, I finally spoke with Juliana about my concerns surrounding my move. She told me she would speak with the dispatch team and get back to me in a day or two.

What I paid after all was said and done was nearly twice what I was originally quoted. I used different movers previously, and with one less mover they got the job done faster than the three I hired from Best Fit Movers. To be fair, the main point of contact (the senior mover on the team) was AWESOME - he was professional, efficient, and accommodating.

The movers seem so friendly and professional, but you can easily get tricked if you are not careful. Long story short, it was a really upset/disappointing experience for me. Here are a couple things. 1. My appointment was scheduled between 2-5 PM. The movers arrived at 3:25 PM but rounded up their arrival time to 3:15 PM, adding an extra 10 minutes ($20) to the clock. 2. If you're on a budget, consider purchasing mattress protectors and stretch wrap rolls from Amazon.

I contracted with Best Fit Movers for a recent move from Los Angeles to Phoenix, AZ. I moved contents equivalent to a 1 bedroom apartment. I had 2 units at the storage facility, one with large furniture items and the other with the clothing and boxed items. The workers loaded the furniture first and met me at the 2nd unit when they were finished. I was still closing and taping boxes in the 2nd unit while they packed the first unit. The units were just an aisle apart, same floor.
