In their own words
In short; ended up canceling our move with Best Movers Falls Church because they had terrible communication and showed up 9 hours later with no warning. Communication during the planning phase was excellent, but that was about it. The crew never showed up during the expected arrival window. I wasn't able to reach anyone by phone/text to find out what's happening.
It wasn’t until the move was over and I had tipped each mover $100 that I found out they broke my side board and didn’t tell me. The top had come off and one leg was completely broken off and they stood it up without the leg being attached and left it like that. I loaded it with all my bar ware, some wine glasses that were more than 60 years old and irreplaceable, and when I went to move it over an inch the whole thing collapsed shattering almost everything that I had just loaded in.
"Best" Movers is the most unprofessional and unaccomidating moving company I have ever experienced. Nick, the manager who I spoke with on multiple encounters committed in an email and verbally to our move. After confirmation he then followed up cancelling and saying that he is double booked and is looking into what he can do about it. Days went by and nothing. I had to personally follow up again as I hadn't heard back and he was working to fit us in.
Dear Meghan, we are truly sorry about your experience. Please do reach out to the company that moved you! We do not have any Nicks here. I do get quite a lot of complaints about this "Nick" person, I think they might have a similar name to ours - Best Movers something...
Everything was great in the beginning. The guys that came work fast and handled my belongings carefully. Had really high expectations since someone recommended them to me. I already expected the max amount to be paid and know what was included but still found a fee that was not disclosed. Wanted a further explanation but been told this is another fee to be paid. So went over my budget and had a sour experience overall. Thanks

We recently moved from a 1-bedroom apartment, and this company made the whole process incredibly smooth. From the first phone call, they were professional, responsive, and clear about pricing and timing. On moving day, the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all our furniture and boxes with great care. Everything was wrapped properly, and nothing was damaged or scratched. What really stood out was their positive attitude and attention to detail. This was one of the easiest moves we've ever had.
Best Movers is amazing and completely exceeded my expectations! I got quotes from at least six different moving companies in the area and Best Movers had the most reasonable rate, so I was a little skeptical that they would live up to the reviews. However, Yuri and another colleague (I feel bad that I didn't catch his name) moved me and my husband from a 1-bedroom condo to a house about an hour away today, and they were absolutely phenomenal!

I NEVER leave reviews but I absolutely had to tell everyone about how AWESOME Yuri and his team were. My wife and I were moving on a very restricted time schedule between our time consuming jobs and we decided to hire movers for the very first time. Best Movers showed up right on time and moved our four bedroom house in 3 hours -- I was blown away by how efficient they were. More over, I work as a manager in customer service and I would hire any one of these guys to work for me in an instant.

My move was done on June 29th from a townhouse in Fairfax to an apartment in Arlington. The team was made up of Jairo, Christian, and Hugo. I couldn’t make it on time when the crew arrived, so I instructed my roommate to supervise the move. Some moments later, i got a call from my roommate informing me that the crew was moving and wrapping fast and were getting ready to meet me at the new place. In Arlington, the crew worked tirelessly in the hot weather without taking a break or complaining.
