Best Price Moving and Storage

I was moved from Indiana to Ohio. I have moved 4 time in over the past 5 years. I I have never had an item broken or received items from another household until now. We received a quote and it ended up being double once they came to my place of residence. I am not sure how the delivery team has that authority. I believe this team did an ok job until I realized they taped directly on my ultimate sack which pulled off the upholstery and also did not dissemble my elliptical which the delivery crew didn't do as well.

I cannot give this company ZERO stars or I would! I want everyone whose moving company broker gives BEST PRICE MOVING and STORAGE the job of moving your belongings to adamantly refuse them! I paid over $5000 to move, this is to be FULL SERVICE moving company yet I supplied the boxes, the tape and packed it myself! NO one advised it would be weeks before I saw my stuff again! New state, new job, just me and the dog! No clothes, no furniture for WEEKS!

After hearing about my friend's experience with this company, I would strongly recommend that anyone thinking about using them do plenty of research first. From what I was told, my friend's family gave the company detailed information about everything they needed moved and were given a price based on that information, only to be told at the last minute that they would have to pay hundreds of dollars more.

If I could give it less stars, I would. Not only was it super hard to get in contact with them, but they also barely sent us ANY info on our move. When the moving truck FINALLY got to our new house (across the country), there was one older woman in the truck. How is an older woman supposed to move all of our boxes and furniture by herself? Talk about a safety hazard. She said that someone else in town was supposed to come help, but to be expected from this company, no one came...

I had long distance move and the pick up was late and took two days and then the delivery has been a nightmare. Missing boxes, other people’s boxes and items, and broken and damaged items. The company is not responsive and the broker was only interested in selling the move and getting the deposit. I’m requesting Best Price to contact me and make it right and get me my missing boxes ASAP!

A disappointing and nerve-wracking experience. It took 16 business days for them to deliver my items for an East Coast move (typical range is 2-10 business days). I repeatedly asked them via email and over call about my move status, but I was sent to voicemail and the never responded to me or acknowledged my contact attempts at all. I was charged ~33% extra just because of an elevator fee and a "long carry" fee that should have been hashed out in the non-binding estimate by the broker.

Every single box (heavy duty) was damaged, several of my boxes were destroyed and poorly re-packed. Since their standard delivery window is almost a full month, I paid $500 for a GUARANTEED delivery date, which was almost a week late. Only $90 was refunded, despite incurring additional living expenses. Upon delivery, they state that their truck cannot fit on the 25 ft wide road up to my house and charged me another $400 for a U-Haul.
