⚠️ WOMEN: PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING — SAFETY CONCERN ⚠️ I am not a former customer of this company — I am a resident who encountered one of their crews blocking my building's parking access. What happened next is why I'm warning other women in particular before you consider hiring them. On July 8, 2026, a Move For You crew parked their truck in a way that fully blocked vehicle access for two buildings, with zero advance notice to residents.
I needed to move within three blocks form one apartment to another. I read the reviews and asked for an estimate. The first estimate was around $600 (two people, two hours for a 2BR). After I clarified that I only had several furniture items (I planned to move boxes and small items myself), the estimate raised up to $1,200 (four movers, 4 hours).

One of the drivers for this company attempted to run me over and than laughed. If they are this indifferent about human life, don’t expect them to care about your stuff.
Apparently these people will steal your deposit and are racially insensitive. You should probably be careful around them.

In their own words
Mark and his coworker were amazing! They helped us move some old, very heavy things that had sentimental impact value. In this process they were very caring and professional, asking questions about the furniture to ensure it was moved safely. They communicated with us very well, updating us on their ETA, how long the move would take, and if they had any questions. Beyond amazing customer service, they were very time efficient. We had to make two stops, which they were extremely flexible with.
Mark and his colleagues helped my wife, my daughter, and I move all our stuff from Oak Park to South Bend. They were attentive, punctual, professional, and careful with everything. They did an incredible job, including the assembly of our bed. They were there for us pretty much all day. Frank, who picked up the phone when I called to schedule our move, was also incredibly helpful, prompt, and approachable. All in all, we really appreciate Move4U Movers and all they did for our family.

Dominic and Ross were fantastic today! They helped us unpack our belongings into our new place at the end of the day. We felt assured the entire move. From letting us know when they were on their way to being 5 min out, their communication was fantastic. Dominic and Ross were also careful yet efficient with the placement of each item, always double checking that everything was placed where we wanted even after having already worked a very long day! Absolutely fantastic job, ESPECIALLY on a rainy day!
