I don't like to leave bad reviews but sadly we did not have a good experience with them. To start, the crew arrived 2 hours late... they were very communicative about it but it really set us back in our plans for the day. When they arrived, they had help from another moving company so they were about 8 man taking everything out of the house and loading the truck. All were friendly and worked fast.

They broke my glass dresser topper and told me they would replace it in 3 weeks but now they made a bogus excuse to why they can’t replace. Workers and owner have no integrity at all and very unprofessional, definitely don’t recommend these guys.
Hello, and thank you for your feedback. We truly value every customer’s experience and want to clarify the situation respectfully. After reviewing the incident, the glass topper was broken due to the running vacuum colliding with it, which occurred after our team had already moved the dresser.
I’d hope that having movers would help in easing the stress of moving. Unfortunately it made it more stressful. My move date was March 31, 2025 with a short drive from the previous living area to current. Better deal movers had 2 men movers at $95 for the first two hours I believe and it took a turn for the worse. Our window was from 9am-11am; they showed up about 9:45am. We had a ton of boxes but for a one bedroom it took hours to get the boxes from the 3rd floor to first floor with elevators.

I used Better Deal Movers for my move in Houston back in November. I went with 3 guys and they were to move a 1.5 bedroom apartment from 4th floor with cargo elevator to a town house with 3 floors, no elevator. My move began around 1pm after they had attended another move and they look tired and not that motivated from the first introduction. I had packed everything in boxes and labelled where they should go in the new home. I had also included "fragile" stickers and arrows making sure they were handled correctly.

They broke my glass dresser topper and the worker told me they would replace it in 3 weeks but now the worker is lying and saying my vacuum broke it, it wasn’t even on, we literally just moved in. He walked into the bedroom and it broke immediately after he place it down, he’s just blaming the vacuum because it was near by, he’s knows he broke it but these guys have no integrity at all along with the owner. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, shady business.
First of all, the mover team was cool and accurate. The problem is that the estimate we received was about 2 hrs and the team finished in 3.5 hrs. We provided all the details needed for a fair estimate. Well, if your estimate is $270 and the total is $300, that's ok. However, I payed $440 at the end. Do not let them start the job without a fixed price offer. The slower they move, the more money they make. (Extra fun: their card reader didn't work)
Hello Adam we value your feed back and like to thank you for choosing Better Deal Movers. When our clients book with us for small jobs we always estimate 2 to 3 hrs. In this case your move took longer than expected, especially moving to the 3rd floor which is time consuming.
The guys are nice but it took 3 of them 7 hours to move a 1590 sqft home of things. We are a young couple that just bought a new house so we thought they would be a good deal. $90 an hr plus tip.. you do the math

OMG!!!! Let me tell you how happy I used them as my movers. Showed up on time actually early moved so quickly, professional, so accurate, careful with my furniture. Took everything down and set it back up. I have moved 3 times in the last 3 years and they ARE THE BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE IVE HAD. And I’m super picky. Lol DID I SAY SOOOOO RESPONSIBLE AND ON TIME!!!! AND BLACK OWNED SO SUPER PROUD OF THEM BECAUSE BLACK BUSINESSES ARE ALWAYS SLEPT ON.

I am so happy I found these guys! I had to move very quickly and they were so accommodating! The communication was so great and the guys were all super friendly, efficient, careful, patient, and never stopped working! We were moving from a 2 story home into my daughter’s 2 story home. This required loading up my house, driving to my daughter’s to unload some things, loading things into the truck from my daughter’s house, and then, finally, taking it all to storage.

These guys are very professional. I got an automated reminder through email and text. They called 30 min before my scheduled time nd provided a more approximate arroval time. They arrived within the time frame promised. I pushed the owner for a fixed rate prior and even though he assured me that most likely they would only need the minimum 2 hour time, I wasn't comfortable so i asked to pay a fixed rate at a higher price. Well, guess what? They were so efficient that they finished in 1 hr and 45 min.

Better deal movers are extremely professional they provide top notch service and waste no time getting the job done. Kardale & Mike are the two guys that help move my daughter’s stuff from storage to her home, however she had to work so me her mom stepped in to help. In route to her new location me & my two year old grandson were rear ended by this lady which was extremely unapologetic for her actions to the upmost.
