In their own words
To anyone considering Square Cow Movers: do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I did my homework. I spoke with multiple moving companies. In the end, it was Square Cow’s overly confident answering service that convinced me to go with them. Big mistake. I hired them to move a large bedroom set from a second-floor bedroom to the garage—something I clearly communicated was not a simple task. I had over four phone calls, sent multiple photos, and explicitly discussed the risks and challenges involved.
Hi Douglas, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We realize it’s been some time since you shared this review, but as we’ve been reflecting on the past year, we still wanted to respond and acknowledge your experience.
I’ve used this company twice before. Customer service was great as well as the movers customer service. Here recently I referred a someone who didn’t have a pleasant visit and was over charged. I originally had a great price when I used them which is why I referred her. However the price has went up and she ended up paying almost $400 for a 2bdrm worth of furniture . Despite her experience I called to use them again however this go round was horrible just from the phone conversation with the office staff.
Hi Angela, Thank you for letting us know our customer service and movers service was great. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us grow as a company! Please let us know if we can serve you again in the future.
I used Square Cow Movers Katy in late October, 2019. The team was #38 with Steve, Tre and Christian. This was the 3rd time I've used Square Cow Movers. Overall Square Cow Movers does a good job and I like the fact a Manager comes by to see how things are going and sometimes helps if necessary. Several complaints I had with the last move are: a surge protector, various wires and Amazon Firestick with remote were placed loosely on top of a box by an employee and placed in the truck. I planned to put them in a box.
Hi Bookworm, Thank you for your feedback.
Avoid This Moving Company - They Intentionally Waste Time to Charge Extra I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Square Cow Movers for what should have been a simple move. I was moving from a one-bedroom apartment just two miles away, expecting a quick and efficient process. However, what should have taken a few hours at most turned into an agonizing eight-hour ordeal. From the moment the movers arrived, it was clear that they had no intention of working efficiently.
Horrible experience. I was trying not to leave a negative review. Now I’m seeing that most of my bedroom furniture was put back together incorrectly. Legs under bed are bent. Boards under mattress are not screwed. Legs under Chester are not screwed on tight. Would not recommend company to anyone.

I’m very disappointed with Square Cow Movers Katy. They don’t have a Katy location but shows they do on google. Secondly the time starts when they leave their location and not when they arrive to your location. I did not know this. I called …
We are sorry you are dissatisfied with our services. After researching your move with us I found that we did comp the drive time to your location at 15 minutes. We keep the google page open in Katy as we serve the Katy area. We also provided a discounted rate on your move.
These guys are horrible.. employers spoke of them badly also.. both managers John dowdy and the other guy David are both convicted felons.. they had me fooled but I will do better research next time. Watch these guys! They will lie to you. …
I have had the worst experience with this moving company, if I can give a ZERO, I could. From the get-go, I explained to the booking agent that I had 320 boxes (itemized info from my cross country move a few months ago) and 3 bedrooms that …

In their own words
My wife and I are fairly new to the area and did a short distance move from our current house to a new one. I contacted Square Cow Movers received a quote on Monday but unable to schedule until Friday evening due to some unknowns. I called the Number and the woman who answered the phone was able to pull up my information quickly and went above and beyond to schedule a crew for the next morning even though we told her we could wait till the following week if it would be easier for them.
Thank you for your feedback, We love hearing that our guys did a fantastic job serving you. Cameron Jerry ([phone removed]
Excellent job! DQ and the guys took great care to ensure all was protected and loaded carefully. Very pleasant and easy to work with. Quick and good price.
Thank you for reviewing your moove. It was a pleasure serving you.
Very satisfied with the services I received from Square Cow Movers & would use them again. We were doing a local door to door move. Steve & his team were very professional, easy to work with & very thorough. The team worked well together & were extremely efficient. I had 2 large pieces of marble that were moved without any problems. When they were finished packing, they did a walk around with us to ensure nothing was missed.
Thanks for the Review Bobbie. It was a pleasure serving you and your family.
Today Mr Steve, Chris and Roberto moved my family out of a 2200 sq foot home into our forever home. Our experience with Square Cow Movers has been professional, organized and friendly from beginning to end. I appreciate the southern hospitality of yes ma’am no ma’am. We also loved the fact that Mr Steve has been with the company for a long time. It reflects loyalty and a good company culture.
Thank you Candace for the opportunity to serve you on your move to your forever home. It was a pleasure serving you.
