I was very disappointed, you pay by the hour and several times I would catch one or two of them outside on their cell phones. They broke my new coffee table I paid 280.00 two months prior and had the receipt to prove it and they gave me 50.00 credit on the moving fee. They lost parts to my bed so it was not put together properly. Also they were a few hours late showing up and we had a schedule time to be out of the house we sold.

We have used this moving company 3 times total, and we have sent over 10 people that we know to use them as well. I don't take it lightly when I feel I have been used. I trusted this company to do what was right by us and they failed to do so. Being charged $210 bucks to move 1 refrigerator 0.3 miles is unheard of! I have plenty of people that could have moved it for half of that. My mom used them today and got her home moved by them. The total came to $500 for their move.

Do not use them! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. We hired Four movers and they did not show up, did not answer the phone or return texts. We had our entire home ready to go, so we had to get a u-haul after waiting an hour and a half for them to show. They called 4 hours later claiming they had scheduled several other moves and had miscommunicated between owner and manager. When they finally did show up, their guys were so tired and overworked that they were unable to load our boxes correctly.

On Aug. 26th Big Country movers showed up at my house to pack and move me. I previously talked to the office 3 times the week before and told them I had approximately 15,000 pounds of stuff. I even sent pictures of my 3 china cabinets and was assured they would have dish boxes for them, they did not. They showed up in a 30 foot truck and not the sufficient amount of boxes and or packing materials. They had to go 3 times and get more packing materials which cost time and money since I was paying by the hour.

Unfortunately we just truly had the most horrific experience with Big Country Movers. It ended up being one thing after another and In terms of problem solving we were met with extreme disrespect and a lot of trying to pass the blame back to us for whatever reason. They broke a very expensive table and only offered a very small fraction of the value to us through simply deducting it from our total. Dante and his crew at Big Country Movers were exceptional! Every member of the team was respectful, professional, and easy to work with. Dante is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to furniture placement and room layouts. I even joked and asked if he was an interior designer! We moved from a 3,000 sq ft home into a much smaller 1,400 sq ft house, and he truly made it all work. The team was extremely careful with our belongings, even though we were only moving about a mile and a half.

Honestly they were awesome, the whole booking via text message was extremely easy. I highly recommend this company if you are moving, specially if you are moving on a Sunday! The guys that came were punctual, friendly and fast. They even help an elderly neighbor to lift a box. Thank you Big Country Movers!
