I have no idea how they got these rave reviews. One of the two men who moved me was on the phone to his boss at least 50% of the time he was loading my items, stopped to talk to my friend and I very frequently, took longer by several hours than any other moving help was ever taken with the same amount of items, gaslit me about the time start I requested, chastised me for not giving more information about my move (no one asked, which has never happened in 8+ moves), and broke my wall.
I will not use this company again. Moses in so many words made me feel like I had lied about the amount of stuff I had. Later I found the text message between myself and the owner Rick stating everything I had room for room and boxes I had. Even though Moses tried to tell me I had 60 boxes I counted them as he was bringing them into the new place and there was a total of 23 boxes. The owner did honor the rate that he gave me.

Big Rick’s Moving Company!!!! If I could rate this company and their team a BAZILLION, I would. From my first conversation with Rick, it was evident that he wanted my business; explained how he would manage my cross country move, willing to work with me on the price, answered every question I had, numerous calls regarding my concerns and etc. Calmed my nerves and anxiety numerous times regardless of how many questions I asked. After all, this was no walk in the park, it was nearly 2000 miles cross country.

We had a small job involving moving an expensive heavy desk from one room to another. We called 3 other company’s who wanted to charge ridiculous fees and fuel surcharges, along with needing to schedule a few days out. If job wasn’t small, that would make sense. One even said hire a poor relative…. Totally unprofessional.
Thank you guys. It was a pleasure working for you. We had fun myself and Moses. You guys were a great company. We can't wait to work for you guys again. In the near future take care.
Rick and his team helped me out of a serious jam a few weeks ago and got me moved out quickly and alleviated a mountain of stress. I can't recommend Rick enough. He was professional, showed up early, worked at a fast and strenuous pace to get the move done in a timely manner (a huge plus for someone who knows they charge by the hour), and had a great attitude and showed care for my items. Nothing was damaged. I have expensive furniture so this was a HUGE concern for me.

I can't say enough good things about Big Rick's moving, and Rick himself. I live in a second-floor apartment with no elevator and extremely narrow, steep stairs, and recently I was redoing my whole apartment on a budget, which meant moving a lot of furniture and boxes and trash in and out -- including a bed frame, a sofa, a box spring, a mattress, and an L-shaped desk that had to be taken apart to get down the stairs -- so two different times I asked Rick to come out (I'm old, fat, and out of shape, and those…
