Clutch Moving Company - Tucson

Please look elsewhere for services. This company is inconsiderate, unprofessional, and honestly incredibly scammy. We were given an exact estimate of $450 and then billed nearly double. The movers did not follow directions properly on where we needed certain items, resulting in the ruining of a very expensive, custom furniture piece, despite the fact that multiple people were telling them the location where to store the piece.

Be careful with your new furniture here. My things went missing! Owner said she did not know where they went. Would not reimburse me for missing items. Do not used this company!!

Contract signed after intro/sales pitch by owner...seemed like a nice guy starting a new business. Plans were made to store all the contents as we could not move into our condo for 5-7 days. He said it would all be protected and put in "vaults'. Owner said special going on and storage would be free. All would be moved from the truck to storage in these vaults. So, they came....we were still packing...they look hurried and stressed. The foreman said we had more than they were told.

Second update: today is June 9 and the claim has still not been settled. The claim department set up an appointment with their vendor to come and view the damage on May 23 at 4 PM. We were at the shop until 5:45 PM and no one ever showed up. They had two phone numbers on which to contact us but they did not. I’ve sent follow up emails and was given a date stating that the claim would be settled that day, which was about a week ago. Still haven’t heard from them.

Don't understand how it took 4 movers 7 hours and 45 minutes to load and unload a 1400 sq. ft. home. We only moved 4 miles. They didn't have to pack anything. We had packed just about everything. Had a dolly but when it was time to bring in the boxes, carried in one at a time. Made a large scratch on our ceiling because they were using the upstairs pony wall to pass bed frames instead of just carrying them up, which could have damaged the wall. Just had the inside painted, too.

Update: One of my furniture broke during the move and we talked to Joel about it. He connected us with someone that handles it and we provided them with pictures of the item. They told us they would get back to us in a couple days and nothing. We waited for a couple weeks and followed up and another person picked up and asked us who we talked to because there wasn't anything on file. She said she'll handle it and it's been FOUR MONTHS and radio silence.

I used this company for a quick move of some large TVs one sofa and a few other items, about 14 miles away. The total came out to $820! I was charged an additional $560 on top of the $260 deposit I paid. They marked the start time at 8:45 am, and ended at 11:20. They charge $199 a hour and $25 for gas after 20 miles. movers were nice but there were 3 men and the time efficiency was horrible. On top of that they ripped my wall up and played it off like it was just okay.

I was charged $874 to take a one bedroom apartment to a 3 minute away storage and they didn’t even take every thing they left half of the apartment there and still took almost 4 hours again to a 3 minute away storage be careful and wrap your things yourself they don’t tell you until there finished that the it’s an additional 200 up charge for plastic save yourself the headache and tell them you don’t want your things wrapped they’ll take 2-3 hours just doing that this the worst experience I had with a moving…
