I hired Tucson Moving Service for a local move based on positive reviews, but my experience was the opposite. I was quoted for two movers, but three showed up without notice, increasing the cost. Additional fees for packing and materials were added without explanation, and I was rushed into signing a damage waiver despite being told damaged items “usually get replaced.” The movers handled my belongings carelessly, causing scuffed walls, damaged furniture, and missing parts.

Do NOT use this company. The movers were slow... you are paying them by the hour, so the longer they take the more they make. The company also will make you pay for their movers to take smoking breaks. The manager first told me he would reimburse me some money for the smoke breaks, after I called to complain while it was happening. Then, at the end of the day when we were discussing the final amount he reneged on that promise and said he wouldn't reimburse me any money at all.

I do not typically leave negative reviews, but my experience with this moving company was unacceptable and warrants a warning to others. The pricing we were quoted upfront was not honored. What began as one agreed-upon amount escalated into a much higher charge by the end of the move, with little to no clear explanation. This felt extremely misleading and unprofessional. I made it very clear that we were working within a strict budget.

Make sure you shop around as this company is dishonest and does not give accurate pricing information. Many items they bill for were not disclosed in advance even though we asked multiple times. The price I was quoted was 105 an hour and then they sent 4 movers and it cost 210 an hour. We were three days from closing and were stuck with them. The cost for packing supplies was ridiculous. The reason we committed to them was to move a large gun safe and provided the dimensions and weight.

I hired Tucson Moving to move me this year. They gave me the price quote over the phone after they asked the size of my move. They said it was a 2 man job. They said I would get a confirmation email. I've never dealt with a mover that didn't come out and do a price quote. I never got the confirmation email. I called and they verified I was on the schedule. The morning of the move the driver calls to ask me the size of the move. All the same questions I had told the guy that gave the original quote over the phone.

Absolutely horrendous experience and customer service. TLDR: they showed up wanting over 3 times the estimate price before they would begin and used high pressure tactics like “the clock is already running.” When we called the owner to complain about the discrepancy he told us now you’re stuck in your house so enjoy it. We found another company who came out an hour later and did it below the price we were originally quoted here.

Frauds. Tucson Moving Service misrepresented their price and then forged numbers on the hand written invoice. For shame these men take advantage of an already vulnerable position, lying and up-charging while my items were still in their position so I was forced into higher pricing. Only to find out they add $150 to my credit card we never discussed. Buyer beware. They are not to be trusted. Tucson Movers was a terrible and embarrassing experience for me.

This company by far has the worst customer service, no one knows anything except how to over charge and take advantage of the elderly and disabled. You know it is bad when the movers themselves cannot explain the pricing and why you pay for transportation in addition to fuel, and still pay them hourly while they are driving. So essentially we were quoted 2 guys, 4-5 hours, $109 an hour for 2 rooms in a 2 story house.
