Hi Holly, I think you’re confusing us with another estimate since we don’t give “exact amounts” or anything like that for local jobs, it’s all calculated by the hour, depending on how prepared you’re and what needs to be done depending on your budget.
David was the initial intake person and quoted $500 for the local move, only 45 min from point A to point B. The amount of furniture was very minimal and the actual movers (3) were slower than expected and talked a lot. In addition, I worked hard to clean the old place up (rental house) and one of the movers used the toilet and left a big mess (#2) on toilet seat/cover. Needless to say I was disgusted and had to spend time cleaning his mess.

I got quoted 65$ an hour for moving and that they only charge per hour. Originally that sounded amazing and moving from an apartment we didn’t have a lot of items + everything was already packed into boxes. The movers arrived to our destination and informed my fiancé that the cost would be 1300$ AND that they charge 65$ PER person, when I was on the call the man I spoke to didn’t inform me that it was per person and didn’t follow up with “how many movers would you like”.

Had a wonderful experience with E-Z Move! I was looking for immediate help with moving items from my storage unit to my house and David was able to have a team available the same day I contacted them! Cesar, Jr and Alfred were extremely nice, efficient, quick, super hardworking, and handled my items with care! Simple review: Awesome. From dispatch/service, good people all around. Affordable but not cheap to just hire labor without care man-handling, they were from first contact, through the move, and transparent/accurate but also very fair they check all the boxes. Steve was great along with the changing partners as we had two moves back-to-back, just fully taken care of with everything. From our family, much appreciated and highly recommended
