In their own words
We used allied to move they set us up with BIGHAM the movers who came to our house didn’t do as we were told some guys were not using runners walking with wet muddy shoes on floors and carpets. The were suppose to wrap all my tvs in bubble wrap and box them paid extra for that none got done. They lost our parents ashes and dogs ashes can’t replace those. Only 2 other deliveries on the truck with ours somehow they can’t won’t find that. The lost probably a row of our stuff.
After doing our research and seeing so many positive reviews for Bigham, we decided to use them for our long distance move. We booked them more than three months in advance. The day before they were scheduled to arrive, we were told that our furniture would need to be reloaded onto another truck that was going out West but not to worry, their professional team would handle the transfer of our belongings to the Allied Van Lines truck.
We used Bigham the Mover to move us from the Woodstock, ON area to New Brunswick. I cannot possibly put into words how utterly disappointed I am with how my things were delivered. I am pretty sure I don't have one single piece of furniture that went unscathed of knicks, scratches, dents, broken... and that is of the stuff we actually received back. Lord knows where the missing stuff went? And isn't it convenient that all phone calls go unanswered, no return calls.
Emailed looking for a quote several days ago. I gave explicit information and I'm still waiting to hear back. If this is how they conduct business, I'll just do the move myself and save the stress and headaches of hoping "professionals" will do their job and at least get back to me in an acceptable amount of time.
Good morning Jeremy. We have a number of different platforms that we recieved emails from so I'm not sure if you emailed us directly or from another source but it appears we did not recieve your email.

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I cannot say enough good things about this company. I was doing a long distance move from the Waterloo area to Ottawa back in July. From the day that David came into my home and gave me the quote, my experience was top notch. He was very knowledgeable and professional and put my mind at ease about any concerns I had. The day the movers arrived, I was emotional about my move and they were incredible! Bigham has professional movers with years of experience with the company. Wayne and his crew were fantastic!
Personable, accurate quotes, they care for your things like it was their own, terrific customer service, very reasonable price and the communication between the crew and the client is exceptional. Highly recommend them
Absolutely fantastic team. Our move from Ingersoll to KW went from a vague idea to a real thing VERY quickly, but the stress of the actual day-of moving process was significantly mitigated by the Bigham crew. We’re a family of five adults with no shortage of Stuff, much of which we weren’t sure was even packed well enough, but these guys were efficient, helpful, and also very good-natured!
This is the third move we've had Bigham the Mover do for us in the last 14 months, as we navigated through life changes. Most recently we had a move that took 3 days. The crew arrived right on time each day and worked tirelessly, completing each stage of the move exactly as promised. A small item was damaged on the first day and the next day it arrived completely repaired in perfect condition! The men were respectful, polite, and skilled.
