They didn’t arrive until 1030 pm. They had promised me there would be 3 movers and there were only 2. One of the movers was so slow, he carried one box at a time. It ended up costing me nearly double the quoted price because it took them so painfully long. Also one of my patio tables was broken. Brent promised to fix it but never did. I shouldn’t have agreed to pay until it was fixed and I should have said I wasn’t paying more than the amount he quoted me. Very expensive move. Not at all happy with the service.

Referred me to 1 good moving company but 3 ultra cheap companies with sub-2-star average reviews, all three of which are according to reviews rude, untimely, and destroy customer’s property. I imagine that these three are owned by the same people from how similar their three quotes were. Good thing I vetted these companies and did my own quality control.
All I got was around 6-7 quotes from companies that had terrible reviews (like 1.5/5). All of them had similar cheap quotes, and a lot of reviews saying they were scams and would hold your stuff ransom until you pay what the inflated invoice. Extremely unhappy with the service.
I filled out a on-line request for a estimate to move , 24 hours later no response , so i called them , answer was , oh we dont have anyone in your area , thanks for getting back to me , what a joke ...dont give these guys your business.. customer service is big fat ZERO...
Terry, we emailed you within 2 minutes letting you know that we do not service your area. You live in a very remote part of Canada where there are no movers. You would have to hire a mover from a a nearby city but you did not want to do this due to cost.
Terrible options. The one we chose (recommended by MOVEIT.CA - Atlantic Van Lines Ltd. increased the cost by weight (from the 1000 lb minimum to 1243) and charged with the only justification of the addition of several small and relatively light objects. The total weight moved was well under 1000 lb, but they caught us on "13" items rather than the five major items I had told them about the day prior to the move.
I think it's actually a great idea for a service. However , when the movers list came up with several quotes , all within about $50 of each other. I contacted most of the movers listed and eventually chose one of them. I won't bore you with the details but it turned out that the one I chose was a complete scam. Very friendly on the phone until they had my stuff. I was contacted by the mover to tell me they wanted final payment before my belongings would leave Toronto ( sent from Alberta ) to maritimes.

I was contacted by most of the affiliates of moveit.ca and there was only one that offered a competitive price for an interprovincial move from Ontario to Quebec. All of the others had methods of cost estimation that I just couldn't endure. I had a list of items to be moved and pictures of the items, but I was required to fill out really bothersome online forms. The one affiliate of moveit.ca that I would recommend is Relocation Engineers and I rate that ⭐︎ ⭐︎ ⭐︎ ⭐︎ ⭐︎ .
Too many things left behind including the snow blower which I stated was a must. I had to hire another mover to get the rest of my stuff after the snow storm so I had to dig my way out with a shovel. Drawers taken out of dresser and not put back in once on the truck. It was placed on its side and the the drawers where just stacked on top of other stuff carelessly. Stuff got dirty and a lot of furniture was broken. Poor communication.

I strongly recommend this website for anyone who wants to move their vehicles across Canada or move house furnitures. I have used them 3 times and every time was excellent experience and very good pricing. Try it and you won't regret it.
