Boundless Moving & Storage

I was scheduled between 8 AM and 8:30 AM Saturday for my personal belongings to be delivered to my new home address. After the scheduled time had passed I began calling the company office I finally made contact with the owner who informed me his drivers were not responding to text messages or phone calls and he did not know where they were. After several phone calls with the owner he finally was able to locate the truck which he claimed would not start and had to drive to their location to resolve the problem.

This company just helped my father in law recently moving from Cleveland Tennessee to ooltewah Tennessee and I can honestly say I’ve never had a worse experience in my life… The guys showed up and smelled like weed. They took smoke breaks the entire time and they also were hitting dab pens the full day. The guys were very lazy and said “this is our process” when I approached them about why they were being so sluggish. They said they take their time and be careful however all of my stuff was damaged and scuffed.

We would not recommend boundless moving & storage to anyone. They moved our belongings from Polk County Tn to Cleveland Tn. We were given an estimate at $1200. The young man offered us insurance on the move & Told us that we didn’t need it that they always do a good job and they’re always very careful with everyone stuff so we declined the insurance because the move was expensive enough for one County over. Fast forward to the pain process we were actually charged around 2100 and that is without the insurance.

I must begin by stating that 1- I purposely waited almost two weeks to write this review to insure it was not emotional and 2- I have moved MANY times while in the military, and NEVER have I had such a devastating, unprofessional move. I’m not sure how this company is getting the positive reviews posted here, but my experience was very different. I gathered, from various employee conversations or gripes, that there have been recent changes in the company.

Update: The owner did reach out and made things right. DO NOT USE THEM! Worst moving experience I have ever had! The movers were extremely unprofessional, they cussed all day, played gangster rap on their phone in their pocket, stopped to text on their phones multiple times throughout the day, they dropped my electric fireplace and broke it, they dropped my husbands table saw, they dropped 5 boxes off the ramp and broke my dishes.

Hit or miss. I had a move with Boundless one month earlier with 2 excellent movers. Then the BAD move one month later. One of 3 workers was inexperienced, inadequately supervised, and drove a plastic-covered chair down the truck ramp as an irreplaceable lamp bounced off the seat to the road. Big hole in the lamp now. The supervisor took photos. In the first move they had heavily wrapped the precious lamp and carefully handled. Have I received any contact from the Boundless office since? Nope.

Do not use this company. We used them to move and found out they used convicts right out of jail and still on probation to move your stuff. Most of our stuff was broken and a lot of it was missing and nowhere to be found. I do not trust them at all.

I've moved many times and never had such damage due simply to poor storing and stacking of furniture. Guys worked hard but didn't know basics of moving - and we had a long distance move across country. Definitely would not recommend.
