BOX Pack 'n Move

After renovation my husband and I needed help with moving our furniture to its permanent placement. Unfortunately we trusted the Box Pack N Move company with that. Richard O., the owner showed up with his crew late. To first agreed appointment he didn't showed up. Upon my inquiry he explained that he is short staffed and we rescheduled to the following day. We set the time for noon, which he rescheduled for early afternoon morning of the setappointment. He and his crew of two showed up after 7pm.

Used these guys a few years ago so maybe they have improved. Hired to move a weight set and they showed up at my house around 11pm to unload. They were supposed to come back the following week to complete the job and put the set together. Never came back. Charged me significantly more than quoted, left cigarette butts in my yard, and lied when I spoke to them.

TL;DR Rip off, don’t use this company. There are better providers available in Denver Metro. Rich will look for opportunities to drag out jobs so he can max out time as much as possible, you’ll need to constantly babysit them to make sure things are moving, and he doesn’t honor discounts. I worked with Rich at the end of August, and contacted him through Google. They showed up late, boxed things up (with my own boxes) I asked them not to. They also didn’t box items I asked them to box.

I was told they'd be at my apartment between 8 and 9am prior. As you can see in my screenshot, it wasn’t until 10:40 that they showed up. When I messaged them asking if they were on their way because I had other plans later that day. He texted "15 min eta" then called me to berate me and say I was “brave” to make plans on moving day.

I called and had an appointment set up with Richard After I set up the appointment, he called about an hour later. And said, oh sorry, I can't do that date. Let's do the next day instead. So we had to rearrange and reschedule from the get go.The day arrives for the move. He was supposed to be at our place between 7 am and 9 am. After I had reached out and left a couple messages, he finally returns my call at 9 o'clock and says, oh sorry, I'm running late. We'll be there by 10 a m. They show up right at 10 AM.

I needed a quick packing job done in about a 1200sf area including a kitchen, dining room and family room. I agreed to a $225/hr rate for 2 people. Very little got done and no area was completed by the end of 6 working hours. The crew head spent huge amounts of time on the phone and his minion frequently wandered aimlessly. I am a 67 year old woman and for the most part accomplished as much as the 2 paid workers. At 6 hours plus an hour of travel time and packing materials, I paid $2520.
