We had a horrific experience with this moving company and their management. The moving crew broke a bunch of items and them dealing with their staff to get any type of reimbursement or getting the furniture fixed has been a nightmare. Upon checking on their reviews, it seems that they are not leaving legitimate feedback on this company. I wish I had done deeper research and now we have a bunch of scratched and broken items from this company.

Used this company twice. The first move went really well. However, i am sorry to say that I had an unpleasant and disappointing experience the second time i hired the company for a residential move.

The team is wonderful, professional and they were with me at every step of the process. The guys were very helpful and quickly answered all my questions. On the day of the move, the drivers arrived on time and everything went perfectly. They were very fast, efficient and careful when loading everything into the trucks and were just as good at unloading at the other end. Moved from a mid-rise apartment in Old Town Alexandria to a townhome in Arlington, and BoxStar made it surprisingly easy. Sandra and Diana were great during booking, very organized and upfront about costs. The estimate was accurate, which immediately built trust. Buzz, Eden, and Dave absolutely crushed it on moving day. They had great teamwork, communicated well, and handled everything with care. Tight hallways, heavy furniture, and stairs didn’t slow them down at all.

My experience with them was far superior than I expected especially after encountering movers who changed fees on me in the past like total scams. From the moment I called the office team explained everything clearly and didn’t try to hustle me off the phone a serious plus. On moving day the workforce showed up fully equipped walked through my apartment and gave me a plan before touching anything. They prepared my bedroom swaddled my furniture and even helped me secure a few items I forgot about.
