To call these guys butchers would imply a level of training and skill, none of those I encountered had either. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Bekins Moving Company. From the beginning, there were clear misrepresentations about the cost, timeline, and handling of my belongings. What was promised during the initial quote and discussions was not what was delivered.

DO NOT GO WITH BEKIN!!! THEIR MOVERS STOLE OVER $2,000 from me on top of charging their premium price plus I tipped them!! I would not suggest you go with this company. I paid the extra money for these guys based on reputation and actually lost way more than I could have imagined. The movers stole 3 of my RC cars and had no issue showing me the cars before they “took them to the basement” at the new house.

This has to be the most inconsiderate trucking company. If you really don’t like your neighbors you should use them. We have a fairly busy alley in Chicago's downtown many trucks use all day long. NO truck ever blocks the Alley except Boyer and Rosene. They not only block entrance to condominiums but make so delivery truck come in one side of the alley and have to back up and go around to deliver on the other side of the alley. Asked to move, they won’t. They have been moving this office for over a week.

Boyer-Rosene Moving & Storage (Bekins) is the worst company you could hire for a move. Our experience has proven this. We hired Bekins to move us from Bolingbrook, IL, to Fort Mill, SC. First, they missed their estimated delivery date by over a week. Second, they over charged us for our move and did not find the mistake until we forced their hand. Finally, they have denied all of our claims for damage done to our property during the move. Do not hire this company.

There was one woman packer that ruined my entire move. Even though the men that actually did the move were hard working and polite, the one woman packer made my entire move a nightmare. After unpacking every box in my storage bin 7 months after my move, I found that every single item that I pointed out to her that was very important to me or was sentimental was GONE or BROKEN. There was no coincidence that the things that were broken were each item I pointed out to her.

We would definitely NOT recommend this company. We utilized Boyer-Rosene for a move in June 2022, and just about nothing was done right. To start with, the crew showed up late, and instead of being 4+ crew there were only 3 workers. First order of business was apparently for all of them to use our bathrooms. This left of us with the disgusting job of re-cleaning two bathrooms in the home we were leaving.

From my Grandmother's experience, moving from Chicago to Florida: Review on the movers conducting business name Behken/Rosen Boyer. Beware! If your items are damaged don’t expect them to reimburse you and for goodness sake time the time to read every word on the multi page order forms. A move that cost in over $7,300 and a claim for $190 for 5 damaged pieces went nowhere because they say zi chose a $500 deductible, which of course I didn’t, I just signed the computer generated form, as instructed.

watch what you sign!! They sneak something in the contract the day of the move where they will only be liable for 30 cents per pound. If they damage and expensive dining table like mine, you will not be compensated for it!!
