In their own words
The movers were great but when there is an issue the management is not very helpful. I will never recommend them to anyone. Have left 2 messages for the owner to call me with no response. When management called about the issue they literally interrogated my friend claiming that the piano was damaged with a knick in it when they picked it up. Then made me feel like I would lie about or I had put the knick on the piano myself. Very dissatisfied and upset that an expensive piano was damaged in the move.
Hi Debbie I apologize that this was your experience with Bradfield Piano. I am relieved that we have communicated and I was able to show you the pictures of the piano's condition prior to us touching it. As you saw, the image clearly shows the damage already on the piano before our guys moved it.
Sent our 1916 Steinway for new strings and a few other things. Am thrilled with the new strings, Felts, etc. However, the paint refresh they did on the brass was chipped in 8 places. They told me to buy some touch up paint and touch it up. Really, this should have never left the warehouse with those chips and they should have noticed it. When I asked them to fix it they told me they did all this extra work, which I knew nothing about, and that I was unappreciative. They also covered up the serial number.
Hi Peggy, We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with any aspect of your experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Your piano received extensive mechanical work, including new strings and action related service, and we’re glad to hear that you are pleased…
I had a very bad experience with Mr.Bradfield. One of our grand piano’s leg was placed a wrong bolt by another mover. The bolt was damaged and can’t not be taken out, so I have to find a professional piano restoration company to fix it. I called Holt, give him very detail about what is wrong and along with some pictures. That was more than 6 months ago, he was very nice to insure me that he can do the job. He also quoted me the price, first hour will be $225 plus tax and $100 for each addition hour.
We’re sorry this situation was frustrating and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. This was an unusually complex issue involving damaged hardware in a critical structural area of a grand piano.
When I originally spoke to Holt, aboit 1½ weeks prior to the move, I was quoted $295 for moving a piano from University Park to Richardson. I advised him that I had an older piano that I'd need to dispose of and he said that wouldn't be a problem. My husband was sitting next to me and heard the conversation, as he was on speakerphone. I also gave the name, address, and phone number of the seller to Holt that day.
I’m sorry this move was frustrating. For moves, we always work off the written quote that’s reviewed and approved ahead of time. The quote you signed covered moving one piano. Removal or disposal of another piano isn’t included unless it’s specifically listed, which is why that came up on the day…
My piano left with wheels, a bench seat and music in the bench seat (my husband did not realize). My piano came back without wheels, a bench seat, and no music.

In their own words
Bradfield was super responsive and professional. I appreciated the formal quote and process to accept the quote and book online while also texting with a live person to answer questions, very trust-building. They were able to deliver within 2 days and the drivers were on time and communicative through the process. They were careful while being efficient. Ultimately, of the 4 piano movers I researched, Bradfield submitted the lowest quote and I believe provided the highest service.
Hi Allison, this kind of feedback is really satisfying to hear. We work hard to perform at the highest level while also keeping our pricing fair, and it means a lot to know that came through. We’re grateful for your kind words and are here whenever you need us again. Thank you!
I had a fantastic experience with Holt at Bradfield Piano Moving. He was great at communicating with me about the pickup and delivery as well as being flexible with the arrangement of both the pickup and delivery. Once they arrived at our house with our piano, they were very quick and efficient with bringing it in and setting it up. I will definitely be using them again for my piano moving needs as well as recommending them to any of my friends who need piano moving services. Great service and reasonable pricing.
We needed to have our family Steinway grand piano moved from Dallas, TX to Lubbock, TX. A seasoned piano technician recommended Hold Bradfield Deniger in Dallas. He tunes, repairs, restores and moves pianos. He has worked for Steinway Hall, moved pianos for Van Cliburn competition, Meyerson Performance Hall, SMU and UNT. Based on his experience and credentials, we decided to use his company, Bradfield Piano Moving Company, to move our piano.
I wanted to update my previous review. As you can see below, my wife and I were very unhappy. After we got a chance to set up an appointment to visit the Bradfield facilities and get a tour and get a sneak peek at our piano, we realized we are lucky to get the piano at this point. The company has been swamped since last February's storm with restoration and repair work. The warehouse is literary packed to capacity.
Hi Neil, I appreciate your attentiveness to detail in your review. We thought it was pretty classy of you to give such a balanced and fair review of our business. If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks again.
