Still disturbed almost two months later. This is the e-mail I sent inquiring after our move to see if our experience is typical-- and never heard back! There was also supposed to be nominal compensation for our damages and never heard back. We've been through 10 moves with several companies, including cross-country, and this is the first bad experience. Yes, damages happen, but the disturbing part about this is that these were all avoidable.
I’ve used Bridgetown twice before if I recall correctly but latest experience will prevent me from using them moving forward. We initially had an issue with the time of arrival: we were quoted after 10, but at about 2:30 PM had yet to receive a call indicating they were even on their way. The person we had available at the apartment for the movers had to go, so my wife left work to be there for them. Movers show up… and the guy who must be a team lead starts flirting with my wife.
As one person noted here- Bridgetown Moving and storage works and is related to NW Relocation. I am unsure of which on actually moved me, but I now know that they are all operating together. people have already written about GTS Shipping dba NW Relocation and Bridgetown Moving & Storage, if I could leave negative stars I would. At every step of the process, GTS Shipping Window dba NW Relocation has been horrible.
We had items stolen by Alex (photo of him attached). We contacted the owner and was asked if we misplaced over $10k worth of jewelry, truly insulting. We have filed a police report due to the company not taking swift action regarding the situation. If your crew has the man in the photos, do NOT let him into your home OR by any of your jewelry or items small enough to place in pockets.
I have had my things in this storage facility since July 2019. Since then I have found extra charges on my account through my bank for October for 289.09 dollars. And they are still trying to charge me an extra month to get my storage. Plus fees of 150.00. So if you want to trust them. Just fyi.
This was my third time hiring Bridgetown Moving. I’ve always spoken highly of them based on my past experiences, and have recommended them to many people. However, this was likely my last time using their services. While the two guys who came to move my one bedroom apartment were nice and they moved my belongings with care and no damages, they took 3x longer to complete my move than what was quoted to me initially.
We chose Bridgetown Movers because of the many stellar reviews that said how gentle they were, but we were disappointed and would not recommend them to others. We had two movers come to unpack a storage unit at our new house. Bridgetown had a more expensive hourly rate and a 2-hour minimum, of which we only ended up needing an hour. Our movers were on time and very polite, but they caused significant damage to our house.
We had Bridgetown store some boxes and my large sectional designer sofa for about five months while we had our kitchen and living room remodeled in Portland (this was in 2018). They mistakenly shipped my sofa to Los Angeles and lost it! We have been paying for storage (and thought that it was in storage) but apparently somebody else was living with it!

So so so so so pleased with this moving company! Every single interaction I had with these folks was fantastic. Sully in the office was friendly, professional, and thorough in getting information ahead of time as well as following up with reminders and check-ins leading up to our move date. On our move date, Al & Jorge arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly. Sully had recommended two movers as opposed to three, and these two got the work done quickly, efficiently, and carefully.
i just moved this weekend and used bridgetown based on the many comments i had seen on the r/portland subreddit of users recommending bridgetown. i also like that yall have your pricing on your website whereas other company’s make you reach out to them for a quote, which i don’t particularly like doing. i made the appointment over the phone and sully was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions both over the phone and after the fact via email since i had never used movers before and was unsure about the…
I contacted Bridgetown after receiving several quotes for moving from Slabtown to Goose Hollow over Labor Day weekend. The crew (Daniel and Angel) were professional and courteous and I didn't feel overcharged for the work. These two gentlemen were efficient, and packed everything well, along with putting some small items that were unboxed into large wardrobe boxes. The only mishap - they accidentally left a computer monitor in one of the wardrobe boxes, and took it back with them in their truck.
Literally the most amazing experience I've ever had moving. Honestly, I'd never used movers before because I'd always heard horror stories: 1. It'll take FOREVER and cost a TON! 2. The movers will do the bare minimum 3. The movers will leave everything in the garage and you have to move it to the right rooms 4. They will charge you for drive-time to and from your house 5. Lots of hidden fees 6. The movers will have bad attitudes, be inconsiderate, they'll make you think they'd rather be anywhere else but there.
