I tried to give no stars. This place is unprofessional. I moved from Augusta to SC. The scheduled time was 8 but they arrived at 9. It started off as a 3 man job but turned into a 2 man job. They were still moving my stuff after 5 pm, which the movers started complaining how late it was getting then started to become negligent with how they handled my furniture, jist to hurry up, and even left my belongings in the truck.

Good Afternoon. As we have been discussing this event with you on multiple different internet platforms, I am just going to begin disputing all of your false charges. Firstly, we tell every customer we have that our guys will arrive Between 8 and 9 am.

This company was extremely unprofessional. All they had to do was move a piano. On Friday, they took it apart in order to load it onto their truck. After arriving at the destination (7 miles away), no one was available to put it back together. When I called the company and inquired about reassembly, they had no idea and then they initially tried to charge me an additional fee for reassembly. After some back and forth, it was finally clarified that there should not be an extra charge for that service.

I am truly sorry for how things transpired for your move, and totally understand your frustrations. We will definitely be pushing for our high standards of care to be adhered to in our stead on moves such as these. We do wish you all the best.

I would put zero stars if I could. Budget Movers were scheduled to arrive between 8:00 am - 9:00 am to unload a POD into my home. At 9:05 am, we called to see where they were. We were told they "worked late" and were running behind, and also their card machine is down and we would have to pay in cash or cashiers check. I notified them that would be an issue notifying us this late about the payment change. At around 11:00, we called again, and the window had changed to 12:00 - 1:00.

I had them move us right after the hurricane and after the move just a few days after we put everything away I noticed some things missing and contacted the owner and he didn't pick up my call or return my call or text after leaving voice mail several times and I just kept trying for over a week and finally one night he picked up the phone and he acknowledged my situation and even apologized and said he would look for those things he stated that he had a truck where things were left on it and he would check, well…

*edited to add that, admittedly, I raised my voice with them and told them their customer service was lacking (rightfully so), but I was never vulgar. I do not recommend using Budget Movers or Appaloosa (owned by the same mysterious person who has yet to reach out to me himself, despite the many times I have left messages with his office staff for him to do so).

Ma'am, since you were rude and vulgar to the office girls, the owner is now handling this and will be contacting you sometime in March.

I had my spouse contact this moving company and coordinate for a move as I was out of town. The morning of my move, they switched to cash-only because their systems were down. After finishing, a mover named Marquis explicitly tried to scam my wife by verbally quoting $610 when the receipt clearly totaled $510. When caught, he lied and claimed the extra $100 was a fee that the company charges for having to use their own dollie’s.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but after living with the consequences of our move for almost a year, I felt obligated to share my experience so others can avoid what we went through. This moving company handled our belongings with extremely poor care. Many of our furniture pieces arrived damaged, including chipped corners, scratched finishes, and dents that were clearly caused by improper handling.

Absolutely horrible and dishonest. Their workers blatantly ripped a 10 inch plus hole in a 1500 mattress and admitted they had a problem loading it cause of its weight. Da8d they have insurance. File a claim.and it's been a month. Constantly lied to and told we will call you back and never do. Now they want to say they only have to pay 70% of the weight. Sorry that don't come close to what a mattress costs. Read multiple reviews today and it seems they do thisbwith claims all the time.

We have moved thousands of mattresses over the years. Even with the weight, there must be a fault in the integrity of your mattress. In my opinion, you should send it in for the manufacturer's warranty.

I recently had the pleasure of utilizing the services of Budget Movers for my relocation, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and efficiency throughout the entire process. Before the move, a detailed pre-move survey was conducted to assess my needs and establish a moving plan. Once the survey was completed, a moving date was scheduled.

Herman and his crew were excellent. They recently did an out of state move for us and were communicative and efficient. We were so impressed with how quickly they were able to do the move, while taking excellent care of our things. The office staff was also wonderful - very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely use them again in the future.

Lower rates than competitors. They did it on time and under budget. Owner even went out of his way to solve a minor issue for me. Highly recommend using this company for your next move.
