I hired Coleman Worldwide Moving to relocate me from Augusta, GA to the UK. While the service from Amy Glover was excellent, the packing crew sent to my apartment really should not be in this business. Use this company with caution. The packing crew showed no care or respect for my items and I strongly advise that you find out who will pack your items before you hire Coleman.
Terrible experience with these movers, would not recommend. Here's a list of issues faced as a warning, with a few pics for reference. - Packers didn't bring enough materials - Packers lacked attention to detail and missed many items that had to be shoved into other boxes later - Loaders smashed a bedroom doorframe (pic) - Loaders smoked in the crate with our belongs and left cigarette butts and trash all over our lawn (pic) - Loaders re-inventoried items already stickered by the packers, misreprenting the total…

I don't ever leave reviews so that fact that I am leaving a review is meaningful for me. I have worked for the Government for 18 years and moved 7 times over that timespan utilizing a moving company. My last move, utilizing Coleman, is by far the worst experience I have had from start to finish. Starting from the beginning: - I conducted 2x telephonic overviews describing the scope and scale of my personal property along with 1x in-person walk-thru.
The men who picked up and delivered the shipment were great. But, the packers were terrible. Three women who spoke no English and depended on the app on their phone to communicate It was obvious that they did not recognize valuable any items. I have a copy of a Tiffany lamp that has globes. I ask one of the ladies to take it apart and wrap the globes separate. She indicated she understood.
We have made 9 interstate/cross country moves. This move from Aiken, SC to Dallas<TX was the worst we have experienced. We had more damage, I think more this move than the previous 8 combined. I know we had more lost and missing items this move than all the other 8 combined. Allied has denied any responsibility for the lost items as we did not check off each box as it was unloaded and report the loss that day. There were at least 3 households of goods on the truck.
Nightmare with this company very unprofessional they stole from us ipad and our Expensive Prescription Medication and dominos gifted by a friend and our Italian liquor bottles for decoration and they took it during the move we had to do a police report one of the movers even admit that they stop at their residence with our stuff for more than 30minutes we was so kind to them even gave them things we left behind like furniture Dallas Anderson came to apologize of the worker stealing our stuff and jamirr whiters was…
DO NOT USE! I have used a moving service for 3 recent moves so I’m somewhat familiar with the typical things that can happen during packing, transport, and drop off. But I have never had such a poor experience than with this company. I am not even finished unpacking from my recent delivery and I am already going to have to submit so many claims for broken and damaged goods.
They packed my house up and my husband did a walk through but didn't open up the drawers. He figured that was basic in packing and that what you are looking for in a walk through are whats left out like chairs etc. When i walked in layer I found a significant amount of things left behind. Mop, step stools, sealed dog food bag, sealed lotions, and everything under the bathroom sink. In the kitchen everything in the dishwasher and 4 drawers were left unpacked. They had to come back to pack what was left.

Coleman moved our family locally last weekend. The representative who came to give me a quote on the move was quickly responsive to my email inquiry and got my quote prepared in less than 24 hours. He was appropriately detailed, and the quote was reasonable. The quote he gave me was what we paid- no hidden costs. He stayed in touch and took care of details to make our move happen, even on the weekend before Christmas. The crew who moved us were courteous and took good care of our property.
