The rating breakdown
Google shows 18 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. 3 of those are one or two star.

Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.

In their own words
My wife hired these people because she thought that they were "good people". On moving day their son and his friends came out to move our stuff. Everything was haphazardly thrown around and the moving truck was packed too tight. After the move was finished, we had to wait for the cable company to install cable. Much to our surprise, the television was broken. We tried to negotiate with these good people at that time. They lied to us about a claim to the insurance company that we later found out was never made.
standing here with all my stuff packed up, dogs cats kids....they never showed. they called and said they were stuck somewhere a half hour after they were supposed to be here. had to call Van lines moving and they met my quote and picked up that day. Budget is a subsidiary and has to borrow trucks. do not chance it.

In their own words
A friend recommended them. They arrived a few minutes early and immediately started to work. Work was completed carefully and efficiently. All of the workers were friendly and worked together well as a team. Thanks again to Barrett and the team.
After a very disappointing experience with another moving company, Budget Moving & Storage truly came through for us in a big way. From the moment we contacted them, they were professional, responsive, and reliable. They stepped in on short notice when we were in a difficult situation and made what could have been a very stressful day go smoothly. The crew worked hard, treated our belongings with care, and maintained a positive attitude throughout the entire move.
Excellent service. All the movers are nice dudes. Went above and beyond helping me set up my washer and dryer and constructing difficult small animal cages. Also took great care and handling of our large TVs. Kept our budget in mind and was able to finish in time and under budget!
Budget Moving and Storage was amazing to work with. Barrett had wonderful communication with me and organized 3 guys to help move my belongings from an apartment to a house. The guys were friendly, hard working, and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to help me donate an item to Habitat for Humanity. I highly recommend Budget Moving in Winston Salem.
