I recommend using any other company than this one. When I made the reservations, it was for 9am -10am arrival time but the movers showed up 3.5 hours late. I had to call the person scheduling moves, who said he knew that they would be that late but must have forgotten to tell me that he really meant the arrival time would be around 12 pm (they arrived even later at 12:45pm anyway) and forgot to update the contract paperwork, the confirmation emails, and text message confirmations that all said 9 -10 am arrival…

I’ve thought long and hard about posting this review. We used busters box to move our 2bed 2bath apartment in April 2024. I researched beforehand because I wanted to support a local company. Long story short, the move which was originally quoted for 3-5 hours or so took the entire day, and even then we didn’t finish. I had to go back the next day. We had two movers. One was a new guy who seemed to care less, other guy was great. My husband ended up helping them the whole day and did twice as much heavy lifting.

I had planned on giving a glowing review, until I unpacked everything they packed and moved for us. Family heirlooms broken, tvs shattered and stuffed I paid them to pack wrapped in printer paper and broken. Boxes of shattered items that were clearly marked fragile with boxes piled on top in our storage. Horrible experience and made an already stressful time worse. Way over priced and now I’m out the money with items I can’t replace and items I have to replace.

The moving company was not professional at all. I booked them to arrive at 10 AM but finally they arrived around 2PM. And they just notified me about the delay 15 minutes before. Then two movers were not professional too. They hit the door with a furniture and made a deep dent on my new home's bed room door. I just booked them because they offered lowest rate compared to other similar companies. But as they say you pay for what you get. I would suggest pay a bit more money but hire more professional movers.
Jubair, we’re sorry that your move did not meet your expectations. On the day of your move, two employees unexpectedly called out, which affected our schedule and delayed our arrival.
The guys that moved us were nice and careful but extremely slow. That turned a simple 2 hour move of half a truck’s worth of items into almost a 5 hour move that tripled our quote from 300-400 for the move to almost 900.00 for a simple half a truck move! So just FYI whatever you are quoted from this company just plan on double or tripping it for an ACTUAL cost for your move.

I searched multiple moving companies for a local move and settled on Buster's Box's based on the local owner, Michael, working to accommodate my schedule and providing fair pricing. The four young men that arrived for the move, over two days, were exceptional. Hard working, professional, respectful, and careful with our possessions. I would rate this crew as one of the top moving crews in my experience (and I've moved a lot over the decades).

Moving is stressful and this is universal, regardless of the situation. We recently moved to a new house and Buster’s took exceptional care of us. These folks are top notch from start to finish. Amazing and thorough communication from the onset. The movers arrived on time, almost to the precise minute. They gave a window between 9 and 9:30am, the back of the truck was open at 9:16. My only regret is that I did not get a picture with Jordan and Matt.

This company is incredible! My wife and I just moved from Knoxville to KC and I couldn’t be happier with the experience that I had with Mike and his crew. My wife and I wanted to make it as easy as possible for the crew. We had everything pre packed and wrapped and when Dante and James showed up they just started getting it done. Mike, the owner, came over from another job they were on and he jumped right in and got to work with them. They were very friendly, comical and incredibly good at what they do.
I first met these guys when they moved an enormous hot tub from the seller’s house. These guys were enormous and muscular but what I noticed was how polite they were, to each other and to the seller. I watched carefully as Michael, Anthony and another Anthony took their time to get it right without damage. Once they were finished I asked if I could hire them for my move, as I am the buyer of this same house. I had been trying to hire various companies for weeks with no luck. Everyone was booked for months.
