Busy Bee Movers

Used them for our first move and everything went great with 3 movers. Booked again for our second move and booked 3 movers again, only 2 showed up! First move took 5 hours and second took 11 since there were only two movers. The only thing that changed was a 45 minute drive for the 2nd move. Ended up missing my kids games because of it. I asked to speak with owner about only getting 2 movers and the lady put the phone on hold and was gone for about a minute or more.

I scheduled our move months ago with Busy Bee. They told me one date and showed up on a different date. I was coming home from work and the woman who said she was the "owner". She was RUDE beyond belief, told me it was all my problem because she didnt like my tone and cancelled my move today leaving us stranded. Oh she said I could put as many bad reviews out. That means she is paying a company to take down bad reviews. When I scheduled I explained repeatedly told them my furniture is beyond HEAVY.

I hired busy bee movers to help me move into an apartment on May 1. The two gentleman were nice and moved in me in quickly. But when they set up on of my two flat screens on the table, I did not notice there was damage until after they left. I immediately called their office to report damage and start a claim, they sent me a sheet to fill out and said that I will take 7 to 10 business days for a response.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! The owner Matt is not on the level. He will beat other quotes, then get to your new place and charge you way more. He will hold your items hostage until you pay! He even threatened to call the police on me... They use temps, they charge you more, they damage your items, and we even had to rent another truck because theirs was too small...

I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone EVER. Three movers showed up and started literally just started throwing our stuff in the truck. The office girl assured me that they would bring the materials to protect my expensive furniture and televisions but when they showed up that wasn’t the case. They had FOUR PADS for my entire house. They proceeded to use MY blankets and comforters to wrap up these things and put them into their dirty truck.

This was my 6th move in 9 yrs. and the absolute worst experience. They showed up unprepared with shrink wrap for items they were informed them about before the move, that would be stored in the garage at my new location I was told I would have 2 men, but really only had 1.5, since one of them was didn't know what he should be doing , because he was standing around most of the time. The move over all took much longer than it should have, but i was still charged for the time. Then it took then 1 hr and 30 min.

We hired Busy Bee movers for our military move in July 2020. Upon scheduling, they asked if we had any specific items we needed to discuss for our move. My husband stated that this was a military move and that all individuals getting on base would need a valid ID and would need to present this at the base gate. We received a call from the movers on the day they were to arrive that my husband needed to meet them at the base gate to ride on post with them, no problem.

This is a tale of a 2 moves. Move 1 house to apartment and storage area in December. The two movers were great. Super careful and fast. We knew we were moving again in August when the new house was done and we planned to request them again. Move 2 - apartment and storage to new house. Horrible! We called and scheduled the move and she asked us if we wanted the same guys and we said yes. Moving day arrived and no one showed. Called Busy Bee and they clearly didn't have it on the schedule.
