The movers on the ground were pleasant to work with. They were not lazy, but were under-staffed. They did adjust the pricing on my move when the day came, when the size of the move was found to be substantially less than had been quoted (because we had sold and moved much). They were more than 5 hours outside the window for the scheduled packing appointment, arriving close to 10:30 pm, and then unable to accomplish much packing at all, making the next day (move day) especially difficult.

(updated review) I discovered hidden damage on several expensive picture frames 4 days after the movers left. Sent email with pictures to local manager and he was very unprofessional and woluld not fix damage. Also, the movers stand there the day of the move requesting you "give them a good review" and hand you their phone. High pressure tactic to get high Google rating. Stay away from this company.

I am not impressed with this company. I was given a quote for a move that I thought was getting me from point A to point B with the storage fee included. I later found out the day before my move that I was only quoted for loading, transportation to their storage facility, and storage for 1 month. I was told delivery of my items for a 3 bedroom home would be an additional fee of almost $1,000.

The most awful experience I have ever had. These guys have done 3 moves for members of my family and things were fine. I called them to set up a move. Told them in only had 5 things but that they were all very heavy and would require several strong guys (pinball machine, 2 safes, a large heavy wood bar that they had previously moved for me into the basement). I explained all this on the phone to them. Saturday rolls around and 2 skinny guys show up and go, yeah we aren't moving that.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE!! Leaders moved my property from a storage unit to my house. Here is what happened: Boxes containing fragile things were not handled with care, causing damages approximating $1,000. Boxes were not put in the rooms they were marked for and instead stacked in one room to the ceiling. Some of my furniture was damaged because they didn’t use the moving blankets that were readily available.

Would not recommend! The process leading up to the move seemed promising. They called the day before for a move window beginning between 12-2. At 1:56 pm the day of the move, I received a call that our move window was moved to 3-5pm. Delays happen, no big deal. However, 5pm came and went with no further communication and no movers arriving. Movers finally arrived close to 5:40. The movers were kind and courteous.

Unprepared and unprofessional. A colossal disappointment every step of the way.Was told with complete confidence that my move was possible. I had explained the difficulty with the new location and was reassured before making my moving apt over one month out that it wouldn’t be a problem. I was very nervous as this was a difficult and heavy move(piano to a third floor apt), but after overconfident reassurance was told everything would be fine. I made my apt and waited a month.

The experience my husband and I experienced with Leaders Moving in 2020 was great. We had four great movers as well as an in-office estimator who went above and beyond to be helpful. Moves are stressful and overwhelming, and our 2020 crew made it easy. Our 3-man Leaders crew this time was the complete opposite. They were a horrible disappointment on the day of the move as well as throughout the claims process.
