Worst moving company I have ever seen. I made a mistake and chose to work with this company for my move from San Francisco to New York City. Things went wrong in so many ways. From the day of moving the movers arrived late. They were really unprofessional and had multiple fights among themselves. Then after 12 hours of packing they asked me to pay $3000 extra since the estimate was incorrect which led to another hour of them just holding the elevator in my building and not moving until their local dispatch and the…
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. My husband and I completely regret using them for our move - they scammed us every step of the way and I’m honestly surprised by all their positive reviews. They made the stress of a cross country move worse in every way. We initially got quotes from both them and Roadway and when we told them we were going with Roadway they asked to see the quote for a chance to beat it.
Careless, irresponsible, and completely unwilling to take accountability. I used CA-NY Express movers to move from LA to NY. I mostly packed my own things, but I had them pack my kitchen and a few delicate electronics. These items were packed extremely carelessly and CA-NY movers offered me a few cents per pound of the expensive items they broke. They basically just threw my $700 espresso grinder and $400 bookshelf speakers into big wardrobe boxes filled with dishes.
We hesitantly went with this company for our move from San Francisco to New York because we spoke to Ron who reassured us they could do it and it would be seamless since this is all they do. It was a nightmare from the beginning. Once we returned to the apartment, after the movers had left we noticed sunflower seeds spit all over our apartment floors and down the common hallway leading to the elevator they were using to transport our items.

I have been and would recommend CA-NY Express to anyone needing to move between NY and SF/LA. We found their pricing to be reasonable and transparent. Bob was extremely helpful during the consideration process and all the onsite crew on both ends were friendly and accommodating. They kept us informed about everything they were doing and why. No surprise charges and our items removed on time and un-damaged! Truly nothing but positive notes.
Overall move was great at a very good price. It was a little difficult coordinating the exact delivery date as we were only given two days notice to confirm. But that aside the move was smooth and everything arrived more or less in the condition that it left. Would recommend to anyone doing a CA to NY move or vice versa.

Please, do yourselves a favor and hire their services. They have competitive prices, if not the best prices, an excellent customer service, and they treat your belongings as their own. I had a great experience altogether. They are very communicative every step of the way. I moved from San Francisco to New York City and all my items arrived with no issues.
