Cactus Moving

Don’t trust these movers, they will rip you off with hidden cost and charges you 3-4 times extra than what was told and they don’t deliver on time. Furniture was broken, stuff missing and never got back. You cannot trust their words as they something else to get you in and then changes all the terms and conditions. They told us that it will be pallets that will charged for but after taking our stuff they told us to pay 5 times for the full trailer instead. Don’t get fooled by them.

Horrible experience with Cactus Moving. AVOID!!! When my belongings arrived, multiple items were damaged or destroyed. My dresser, which cost over $1200 arrived broken. What shocked me most was that they literally placed the broken dresser leg on top and wrapped it together as if that somehow made it acceptable. They clearly knew it was damaged. My sound system also "mysteriously" disappeared. I personally watched it being loaded onto the truck, yet it never arrived. Draw your own conclusions.

​I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a moving company. My experience was unprofessional from start to finish. ​ The crew arrived late, and immediately upon arrival, they told me the move would require two trips because the truck they brought was too small. After only one hour of work, they requested a 5-minute break but were gone for over 15 minutes, clearly exhausted from a previous job. Despite these delays and the extended break, they still tried to overcharge on the billable hours.

I would strongly advise against using this company. What should have been a straightforward move turned into a 12+ hour process, despite having two trucks, and ultimately required assistance from our own friends just to complete the job. Which later when I sent them photos of the many damaged and broken items they tried to say may have been from when my friends helped. They didn't even move the large items or any of the broken ones, they were moving smaller items like plants and baskets.

They are nothing but just a scam. Don’t believe them hat they say to scam you because their promises and advertising is all fake. They claim to be different from others but let me tell you they are not any different and probably worse than others because they trap you in their promises and fool you big time and take all your hard earned money. Firstly they gave us quote of $6000 and then eventually charged us $16000 because they knew they had our stuff and we didn’t have any option than to pay.

We recently used Cactus Moving and unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. This may have been a one-off, but there were a few issues that made the move more frustrating than expected. The team took quite a long time packing and at one point were watching soccer on their phone, which didn’t feel very professional given the time-sensitive nature of a move.

Worst experience moving ever! We hired Cactus for our recent move and it was such a nightmare. Even after an in-person estimate (the person came into our home and looked at everything we had), the movers brought a truck that wasnt enough for our boxes and stuff. They offered us to make another trip but then said they were double booked. They said that moving supplies are included but barely used any wraps other than moving blankets and runners.

My father had a great experience with this company, which is why I went with them. Beware of which team you get. It makes a difference! They get 2 stars because they got me moved. I am also writing this a week after submitting my review to them with no further communication from them. My experience was as follows: They offered to arrange for cleaners, but that wasn’t set up. Apparently I didn’t use enough exclamation points in my confirmation. They broke 2 out 3 bookcase extensions.
