Let's Get Moving Calgary

I would strongly encourage anyone considering Let's Get Moving to carefully research their options before booking. I chose this company despite their higher pricing because I needed a quick move after my home sold unexpectedly fast. My belongings were being moved into multiple storage units while I waited for possession of my new home. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.

Waited for an hour . Finally called to see where they were . Gave me the run around. Took an hour to figure out what the problem was . Their mistake . Showed up 4 hours later .Had a hard time finding our location /communication challenges. Wanted to charge me an extra 150 bucks for milage . I would not recommend.

3 guys took 11 hours to do what 2 guys did in half the time months earlier. They scratched the China Cabinet and chipped the coffee table and didn't have the balls to tell us about it. They were extremely rude and drank our milk.

After reading all the reviews, maybe I was the only one that got inexperienced staff.... If this is your first time booking, here's something to pay attention to: - We got charged for the wrong hours: booked for 1PM, they came at 1:44PM. Finished at 3:45PM - They sent me an invoice of 3hours and 15 minutes. When asked, they said they charged for the driving time BUT there was another driving time fee which was $90 already added in lol.

Poor communication, slow service and they will overcharge you. I was thankful that I was able to book so quickly with them but they did not deliver the ‘professional service’ that was promised. They moved what was clearly bags of garbage, and when transporting items into the new place, they stacked the furnace room of all places full of items.

I have read your response. You noted a considerable compensation was given to me. NOT THE CASE If you let the public know how difficult it was to get any compensation from Lets get moving. From the numerous phone calls and emails and finally offered $275 from Lets get moving for the amount of damage we had was ridiculous. I had an estimate for $472.50 to just repair a broken chair leg and hutch that was sent to lets get moving.

I'm torn as to how to approach this review. On one hand, it was so nice to have our house moved and the heavy furniture dealt with but on the other hand I can't say I'm completely satisfied with the experience. Let me first say, the team was friendly, on time and worked hard through the whole process, and the price was reasonably close to what was quoted. However there were some issues I had with the process.

Unfortunately, our experience with Let’s Get Moving Calgary was extremely disappointing. We were charged $299/hour for “1 truck, 4 crew.” One of the four movers left before the rest of the crew was finished, and the move itself was not completed. After they left, we still had enough belongings remaining that we had to make approximately six loads in our Jeep Patriot with the seats folded down and another four trunk loads in our Chevrolet Malibu ourselves.
